My doberman puppy lost appetite [In reply to] Can't Post

My doberman puppy lost his appetite since last few days, he only eat about 2/3 of his normal food quantity. What should I do? I have read previous post, that dog may like to mix his dog biscuit with yogurt, is that true? Is those yogurt eat by human? Thanks a lot.

p/s: I feed my doberman puppy dog biscuit (Pro Pac) 3 times daily, he is 8 weeks old ++ now.

Besides, what I should feed him so that his fur will look darker and shiner? Smile

Fish Oil which rich in omega 3 & 6 is good for shiny fur.......

Re: [Vic Tea] My doberman puppy lost appetite [In reply to] Can't Post

I bought I can food and mix some with his dog biscuit last night, he was so excited and finish all the biscuit in few minutes. Anyway, when I do the same this morning for his breakfast, he show not much interest, back to old appetite, ate about 2/3 of the food.

My Vet gave some oil and one orange color liquid for my dobie cause he is having some excessive shedding problem.

Re: [DobeRocks] Any DOBERMANS fans here? [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi there,
please don't get confused between WORKING DOBERMANN and DOBERMANN WITH WORKING TITLES.

To be a CH in Eu beside CAC CACB in conformation you have to get a working title minimum IPO 1. That's only one trial, passed and get the IPO1.......do you consider this dog a working dobermann ?

The answer is no since it's very quite easy to pay 2000 Euro and get the IPO stickers.

Working Dobermann are partecipating to competitions IPO1 - 2 - 3 regularly , they have the own logbook where points for tracking, obedience and protection are recorded.

Conclusion. If somebody is talking with you about working dobermann ask a copy of the competition logbook, check how many competitions the dog attended and from there you know without any doubt if in front of you seats a real working dog.

I also read that somebody is breeding 2-1 dobie here......that's a big news in the dobermann workd and we should inform the IDC ( International dobermann Club in germany ) .

it's good you guys ask questions, the more the better, we have to kill the ignorance because somebody always try to make monies out of that !!!

Stick to Pro-Plan, Origen and even Acana, forget the rest. Eagle pack has taken flight to la,la land.

Re: [PSY] Looking for Vet for my doberman puppy ear cropping. [In reply to] Can't Post

hey bro thanks for the lead

Ok yesterday bought the small pack of pro plan ( with the lamb chucks and so on ) and then checked the impression behaviour of my naughty fellow ..

as a saying says you need to add half of the last taken brand to the new one , but unfortunately the last eagle pack brand was fully consumed and i had to start fresh.

observed that at first he really speed up and gulp down as much as possible , then suddenly the speed slowed down , and he started choosing only the lamb chunkie instead of the

biscuits ....upon eating all the chuckie he then started looking at me ... i told him eat up and he continued ...

overall he seems to like his new food ... anyway will keep on observing

also he did not poo in the porch just like he usually does ...

My, my you watch your dog eat???? Just put him in an enclosed area, put the food down and walk away, come back to check in 15 to 20 min. if not finish tell him to and walk away again, check later and if not finish, give it to another dog (if you have another) if not just throw it away, both cases in front of him, I bet you after a several times he will finish off his ..... pronto.

well bro watching them eat makes me feel good at times ....but seems like when i'm not around he doesn't eat at times ...maybe the bond is us i guess...

ok just to update of day 2 for pro plan with lamb chunkies

day 2 : he ate up his food without any hesitation and after eating he finds for more ...

also noticed his pooing habit has got some changes ...as after eating his last meal last night ..pooed once and today morning he did not poo in the porch as what

he usually does during the usage of eagle pack ....

what about the rest of the members here using pro plan with lamb chunkies ?? any feedback

Re: [Vic Tea] Looking for Vet for my doberman puppy ear cropping. [In reply to] Can't Post

hi guys, i hv read through this thread from page 1-22.
so envy u guys to hv a nice breed like thisFrown
me myself dun owe a doberman. instead i hv a dalmatian and a beagle at home. for times i m thinking of having a doberman at home. but i wondering whether onot it will get along well with my 2 dogs?
my beagle and dalmatian is friendly enough to anyone. but i m scared if i get a doberman it will become aggresive whn grow up. what do u guys think?
by the way, i nw still can think oni, still not the perfect time for a new dog yet :) so now wana understand more about this breed 1st.
i m looking for a guard dog to and oso as my pet. so the oni prospect i hv is either GSD, ROTT and DOBERMAN. i dun like long coat so GSD is out d. Rottweiler is ok, but dun like the salivas... so doberman should b find to me, but i read through internet about this breed is independent and dun like other household pet. so tats what make me headache. can u guys pls gv me some opinion? so that i can make a right choice in the future. thanks alot ya FrownWink

If both your dogs are presently females then get a male dob, if the ones you have are males then get a female dob. The dog's temperament is in the breeding so in general get it from a reputable breeder. A budget over RM2,000.00 should get you a balance pup. No harm calling them since they are the doberman expert in Ipoh. Expert doesn't have more than 100 dogs in his kennel.. Either Quality or Quantity.. They are Dogs not Machines..

A real expert will share his knowledge........ Share?? Theory or Practical or just simply show u the cert?? and only stupid one keep all by themselve. Not stupid one coz a lot of ppl do not know how to appreciate if the 'knowledge' comes too easily..

Re: [Vic Tea] Malaysia Dog Day 2009 [In reply to] Can't Post

Super no longer a puppy, but his attitude still the same.... naughty, active and aggressive.
He like me to pet him but no no to others dog, if I pet other dog he will stand nearer me or blocking me from pet the other dog, or even use his mouth to grab (gentle grab) my hand away from touching other dog Crazy

How your Rolex doing? did he help you to guard your factory Frown
