Re: [Anderson] Sad news on STAR [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Anderson,

HD is a genetically inherited and very common in doberman and other big dogs. Poor Super. How's Super doing now? Can walk or run? I think you should teaching Super to jump because it will make Super more pain. Swimming is a good sport for HD dog. Any mining pool in Kajang for Super to swim there??

I feed and apply olive oil too. Rolex is recovering soon. Agreed with u that cheese, hotdog and chicken neck were not the cause, but just taking extra precaution.

Re: Doberman [In reply to] Can't Post

Super already recover, active and naughty as usual.
I though Doberman is the kind of military base dog, jumping should be no problem, i think, but not too high.

Vic, can I know Rolex daily meal? what do you feed him for breakfast, lunch and dinner? any supplement?

For Super, breakfast will be half cup dog biscuit with liver cod oil and Omega3 oil. Then lunch will be chicken neck with rice in XL bowl. Dinner will give quarter cup of dog biscuit.Frown

Re: [Anderson] Doberman [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Anderson,

Correctly if I am wrong, I read some where on the net that HD is inherited and can not be cure. But, we could maintain the condition and prevent the condition to get worst. I guess the best thing to do is to go for x-ray to confirm it. Who knows, may be Super do not have HD!

I feed Rolex 2-3 cups Proplan lamb and rice daily in one big meal. Now, I added spoonful of olive oilve (extra virgin) in his diet due to skin problem.

Feed him fish oil capsure and vitamin c occasionally.

By the way, I will be moving to a landed property after 27th December and bring him home sweet home. That will save me time to travel to my factory everyday to train Rolex and make sure he is not lonely thereBlush

P/S: Just got 2 dog licenses from MPSJ for 2009, it cost RM15 each.

Re: [Vic Tea] Doberman [In reply to] Can't Post

me also going to get 2009 dog license from MPkj, before I get the license I need to get the signature from the Vet.
sometime I think why not the government canceled the License application and encourage more people to keep dog as you know the criminal in Malaysia is increasing.
But with one condition to force dog owner to attend a class and train the dog as well to qualify to become a dog owner.
I think this rule is from Europe country, eg. German. if not mistaken.

Re: [Anderson] Doberman [In reply to] Can't Post

Anderson, You dont need to get vet signiture. Just bring along the Super's vet clinic record book will do.

Due to the economic tsunami, I am sure that next year's crime rate will definately shoot up like rocket!!

MPKj is very strict. Owner must bring along a copy of dog's photo, letter from the vet, medical record and attach it with their form (which I hv to pay RM 1 for it....sigh~~) otherwise they wont approve it.....plus RM10 for dog license.....

New Look [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi everyone...Hope all of u had blasting holidays and festival season celebrations! CNY is also approaching....woohoo! I love holidays!

I updated the Picasa Album. Go to the last 8 photos to see Maximus recent look. He is quite big now but still smaller than his grandpa Jaggar.

About the food eh...most of the time, I give Max the recommended grams as per Pro Plan Lamb Rice's chart...sumtimes abit more la if he shows me the "still hungry!" sign hahahahah but not more than extra 50g la

I give him canned lamb meal mix with rice for a change like 1-2 weeks once and raw chicken/lamb dipped in hot boiling water 1-2 times every week. Here and then....carrot, sweet potato, dog chewables, biscuits etc as snacks.

Re: [sennheizer] hi... [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi there...yea where is your location?

My Dob showed similar sign once when he got bacteria infection. He refuse to eat and when I feed him rice...he went only for the meat.

Take him to Vet. In case your Dobe is not well, they will give pills for liver to enhance their appetite and recover their illness...if they are ill la. Or else a good vet will know why they behaving such. Maybe they dont like the food and you may require to change brands? I wouldn't know...

Just take him to vet. If you're from Klang, I'll recommend Dr. Thomas. He is a Dobe lover and sometimes he doesn't charge for advice and minor check ups. If it is something that can recover without medicine....he will tell us what to do too.
