Hey Michelle, I can imagine how funny it is...one big dog with 2 small dogs....Yeah, we can be in the same group later, but don't know how is she going to arrange this, coz you are 2 lessons in advance...I think no worry lah, she will tell us later....Sly

Now, I have to consider about going to the K9 day. Are you and Daisy going? I hope to go with Baskin but he has to go training also. It will exhaust him so much if I bring him to K9 day and then to training afterwards. Moreover, there will be even more dogs and people to make him go crazy. I think I have to constantly expose him to other dogs so that he will get used to them by then.

hi,

no problem, we all do get really excited when it comes to our gr puppies!

just to add, no walking on smooth marble floors/tiles alike, no climbing on stairs, no jumping over anything high until they reach 1 year old.

so many restrictions. and my puppy is a real jumper i'm seriously trying to stop him from doing anything silly :/!

Re: [WendyS] SKin problem? [In reply to] Can't Post

hey wendy, yes by are go so many dogs, today we went walking the the great dane was loose again!Crazy abit scared but roxy and i just stayed put waiting for the owner to take the dog back, then he actually hit the dog with a rotan wor...so sad. like hit the back of the dog with the rotan three times..different ppl have different method i think.

oh yes never feel anything when tail hitting something, roxy has the tendency to stay right next to my door when i want to go out throw rubbish and her tail wagging like made hitting the door cause want to go out but never feel pain also.

the kong is very hard to chew, they actually will not chew it.:) just play with it. daisy will figure it out. esp if u freeze the kong, make sure it;s standing up so the food can all go down to the bigger hole. then you see her licking the edge of the kong like mad. if she don't know how to lick the kong..try to whet her appetite by just put a bit of peanut butter at the mouth of the kong, she will love the peanut butter.

well i like grassy area so i dont think i will tile my house lah. have to train like this. she ate your fish?haha i am not surprise. but be careful cause it can be dangerous. i have 2 turtles with like 20 feeder fish and i have caught roxy putting her head in the tank and even drink it. i think that is why she got sick the other day. so right now we put a cover on the tank so she don;t drink the water.

changing teeth, hmm i check her teeth every week to see if they are clean and stuff and just one day i saw this one big hole in her incisors. then i check the others and some tooth about to come out. the process very gross cause some of her adult tooth come out already and we have to take out the baby tooth by ourselves so the adult tooth will grow properly. sometimes she does chew the tooth, don;t worry as it's safe. daisy should start changing her teeth at about 4 - 5 months. right now roxy's teeth all changed already for canine, incisors, pre molars. waiting for molars to change/grow.

my friend used to have a GR and he said they will quietly lick their butt when they are on heat. u will have patches of blood on the floor just quietly clean it lah. plus when they are on heat 1st time dont know what is it yet mah. i hope when we go for K9 day she is not on heat.

Heh... heh.... cute leh? I bought the bootsies for him at the maluri pet shop. Ikano also got, but slightly more expensive for the same brand. That is the largest size available. It's a bit loose right now so I hope it still fits when he gets bigger. Wanted to protect his legs when he goes for walks. You know lah... our roads are so dirty. Moreover he lives indoor so have to wash his legs after each walk.

After several hard attempts, my sis and I managed to put them on (very difficult as he kept chewing on the string). Then, when we were just outside our front gate, the poor boy tripped and fell. So.... malu lah. Well, we took the bootsies off and have not put them on ever since. Maybe I'll try it again one day.

Hmmmm...... should touch up on the avatar lah.... The eyes reflected due to camera's flash.

Hi...

I'm looking for booties for my dog too. Did you bought it from St*t* Pets at Taman Maluri, Kepong? How much? Wonder does the large size fits my Chow or not Crazy?

Hi May

The St*t* Pet shop you mentioned is at Menjalara not Taman Maluri lah. I'm not sure whether they are selling any bootsies or not. The one at Taman Maluri is called Pets St*t**n which I bought it for RM37.

Pet Safari at Ikano also carries the same brand (Pet-a-log) for RM45. They have 2 choices of colour which is red and blue.

The largest size is #1. Measurement on the base of the boot is approx. width 2" and length 3".

Hi Michelle,

Oh...my mistake Blush. Which part of Taman Maluri that petshop situated? Maybe I should bring my dog there to try out the booties. She lives indoor and bring lots of sand into the house eventhough I wipe her feets thoroughly after walk.

Thanks.

Cheers ..

Re: [May] SKin problem? [In reply to] Can't Post

The measurement I've given to you earlier could be a size 2. The bag cover was printed #1 but when I check the boots it was labelled #2. Haiya... so confused.

Best way you bring your chow along. Hhmmmm..... the location ah..... Coming from the petrol station, go to the far end of the shops lots towards the mosque. First row corner shop is Goodrich car tyre shop and behind it is MD Door. Then there are two coffee shops back-to-back. It's the last row of shops which is facing an Indian Curry ???? stall. Got buy empat ekor ? Then it's the same row as Magnum.

Hope the direction is clear to you. Myself read also confusing.

The shop is actually very easy to find. Very big signboard. Worse come to worst, just drive around the shop lots lor..... There's another pet shop around that area also but that one is a half lot.

Anyway, took Baskin for his last jab yesterday. Dr. W is on leave so lady dr. on duty. She is quite nice and more friendly towards dogs. At least she will pet my Baskin first before examining him.

Wah.... so good... party everyday hah???? i got nowhere to go. Frown

Anyway, that Sunday morning, Baskin has been biting on his back. Only when the vet was checking his back that we realised it has became very reddish (almost inflamed). she cleaned and trimmed off that area and ask us to continue using our skin cream. See if it gets better. Otherwise have to return next week and have Dr. W check on it. She also mentioned something about an injection for mange.

Eh... you back from gym ah.... saw that you are online earlier. I used to go to Les Studio at Taman SEA. That was before having Baskin. Now cannot go because have to babysit him. 3 months fees wasted.

I may have to bring Baskin to the vet this Sunday if the spots doesn't get any better by then. Hmmm...... have to get some ear drops for him also. His ears so smelly. Have to clean off the wax almost everyday.

I let you know end of the week.

FF is quite expensive lah .... Not working so have to go for cheaper alternative. Hah.... my friend told me that the chics at FF goes to the locker room and touch up on their make up first before workout Crazy. Is it really for fitness or other purposes Tongue ?

Ei.... notice whether Ben have any hiccups? Baskin hiccups constantly from the day I brought him back. So ker lien Unsure. But the vet said it's normal. Some dogs just have it.

BTW, have you ever scan the microchip on Ben? I've checked with Dr. W but he doesn't have the scanner.
