Hi Arthur,
When Belle hears about the eating contest she just goes crazy . Any idea how will the judging be like? I mean do they time us individually with a timer (our dogs and ourselves) or do we put our hands up once we finish makan ? How big it the bowl of cereal? Sorry for so many questions but this contest sure sounds great lah.

Hi Cheng See...
Long time no talk. You musta been very busy. OK, to answer yr query, I recall last year, there's a individual timer assigned to each participant. Once the humans finished, you're supposed to invert the bowl over yr head. The bowl is a polystyrene type you get when ordering ice-kacang or cendol.
Give a belly rub to Belle for me. Long time no see her ler...

just need to find out a few things..... rusty is not a runner and a doubt him (and myself) can finish the 2 km course. however, i would like to bring rusty there for the fun of it. do i still have to register? wat if we're late for registration?

dogathon is a raising game? who fast who get prize? or just for leisure walk? i scare my m.s puppy can affort n ....faint down.......

Hi Keidou,
To answer yr queries...
1. You can enroll on the day itself. Just don't be too late or else you wont be able to join in the activities.
2. If you want to enter for the dogathon, it's RM8 per dog. If you also want to enter for the rest of the games..eg.best trick, wagthon, fastest eater etc..It is also RM8 per dog for ALL the events. There is no charge for humans. Remember..it's a dog's day out!
3. Even though they award prizes for the winner of the dogathon, many folks just take a leisurely stroll round the lovely UPM campus with their furkids. We let the young ones and the young-at-heart to run their hearts out! Since it's for raising funds to doggie organisations, I will enter the dogathon for the fun of it. MiniSchnauzer boleh!

You're right Rusty, our pugs' little short legs won't be able to do the 2km run, somemore with obstacles - they're probably just pengsan then we'll be in trouble
But hah, maybe if they have junk food eating contest (not that boring dog food type)...
I'm seriously cosidering going but need to get someone to go with me & can't decide which furkid to bring - both which don't think I can tahan man or 1, then the other will get cemburu

have u confirmed on going? i cannot be sure yet cos it depends on whether i have to go back home town or not that weekend.
will u be going to the kk gathering this 16 june? i'm sure u'll make a lot of frens who will be most willing to take care of ur furkids if u can't handle them on ur own.
i'm sure it'll be a lot of fun to bring both along. if i'm there, i'll be most willing to take care of one of ur furkid.

Hi All,
Yes, I'm very likely to go to the Dogathon on 5 Jul but it would not be convenient for me to join this group meeting up at the Mobil station as I live in Cheras (just after the toll) & I can go from my house, the only thing is I would need a map. Please excuse me if someone has alreadi posted it and I must have missed it. If so, please someone direct me to the post. Thank you.
I'm bringing my Baby pug but we won't be entering in any contest. This is just a familiarisation outing as it'll be our first
