Yes i go there quite often.It's my second home u know :P I'm actually doing this just on behalf of my dog who's from spca.After adopting him (even before i adopted him) and see what he had to go through each day i decided to dedicate most of my free time on volunteering.,

well if u're interested we can make an arrangement one day and i can give u the ropes.

it's not an easy task just for your information.

U can hunt for me as i'll be bringing a JRT and a mixed breed dog who's yellow white in color wiht a foxy look.It's easy to hunt then now isn't it ?

Just wanted to wish thanks to everyone at puppy.com & the various other organisations/affiliations for a great, enjoyable, fun & hot "SUN-day" time today.

We all enjoyed it, Anjali (my Dob), Sarsha (my sis) & Raysyn (her terrier mix).

Also thanks to Paulyn, the animal enthusiast/activist. Please mail me, surind@streamyx.com, i'm willing to help at SPCA this Wed.

I'm glad to have met u as well! Well, that's why it's called a SUNday now eh? Nash and i both enjoyed today's event as well too and the moment we reached home,i bathed him and my other dog Josie rightaway and once he's all cleaned up he slept like a little baby.He's too worn out.As for the "left-out" dog josie, she cried when she saw my car parked infront of the gate.Poor girl.Will bring her to the next gathering!

It's nice to know what u're interested in volunteering for the spca this coming wed.What time are u free?I'll only be at the SPCA from 1230 onwards i think if i have nothing else to rush back home.

Didn't see you today but saw Pongo's sister snooky (if i spelt that correctly).Did not bring pongo out today as he has yet vac for heartworm and i can't afford to handle three dogs in one car esp pongo as he loves to rest his head on my most important hand whilst driving-left hand!

I just added/(got approved) a new pic of Anjali worthy of a Pepsi Twist commercial.

Only arrived at 11am, left around 4.30pm. Sorry, if I did not notice you. My eyes we're only pealed on all the gorgeous doggies at the event. Of course I noticed (biased) for the Dobermanns at the event. Please tell me which dog you brought to the event and I might remember you, for next time. I see too many dogs in your online gallery and dont think I recall you mentioning which one is yours there. Could all of em be yours? Shocked

Recall seing 3 Dobs. One very nice looking dob with cropped ears, took part in the Large dog event, I was standing near the stage during these, as wanted to see if Anjali was allright with being paraded, so I can put her into the contest next time. Suprisingly, she was very confident and even jumped up on the stage and stood up there for sometime at one point talking to the other dogs there. Its almost like she was saying, "I want to take part as well. Not fair" Wink

hehe

The other Dob was a dark brown 7 week puppy owned by a chinese man.

Another full grown Dob was there when I first arrived, but didnt see it later.

Not fair, we need more Dobs... Laugh

wow!! u stayed right up to 4.30!! I left around 2 i think.

The brindle coloured BM,liver & tan dobe,black & white cocker mix are currently with me. When I met you,none of the dogs were with me. They went home early. It was too hot for them.

No worries. I was kind of too. Hm..the black & tan male right? He's a show winning one. Can't recall the owners' names Blush

They've got 3 other dobes at home.

Liver & tan female? Smile

Yea..saw the adorable pup as well.

Anjali looks great in real life(not that she isn't in pictures). Very nice structure. Tall & slim. How tall is she at the shoulders? Cool

Hey Paulynn,

Always great to meet animal/dog enthusiast and especially one that does her part for the less fortuned doggies.

All 4 of us crashed after the event. Just splashed my dogs with water, fed them with the food I had dog during the event, turned on the fan on the side covered area and let the two crash there. Obviously, my left behind Dushound was very angry, being the "Alpha" dog here and all. But, we didnt know what to expect at the event; being our first, so had to leave him behind. Maybe next time. Fed him some Beggin Strip to ease the emotions. Hope to see Josie next time, along with wise-lookin Kevin Nash or course. He is a WWE wrestler if youy didnt know.

Anyway, im free this wed. Still lookin for a job, but doubt I will find a good one by this Wed. Also, my cousin from Melbourne is staying here, so that will slow things. So 12.30 will be fine to go there, although, I need some help. I dont know the way...

I'll prefer to walk into spca with you if possible, so you can intro me to everyone there and clear whatever might be stopping me or anything. Anyway, I live just behind the LRT Kelana Jaya station. So direct me, or maybe, I'll follow you car. You have to pass here to get to KL right. Confirm later then.

Please tell me what to expect, wear, etc, there. I dont mind getting dirty of course and aint frightened of big dogs or getting bitten. Just would like to avoid getting the shot for the 4th time pleaseeee. Cant beat your record of course. Was it six? Unsure

. Very hot around 12, I nearly fainted from dehydration one point. I'm not really the early morning type unless its for a run in Bukit Gasing forest reserve with Anjali.

Love Dobs, just sometimes, some owners too "aksion" with theirs and their so called Dob skills. The dogs are innocent of anything..... of course! Sly

Black and tan male owner, is he a member here?

The pup made me wish Anjali was a puppy again for a while. Geram........

Another Pug there named Yoda with a double curled tail also geram....

Saw the liver and tan female, not sure if was female.

Thanks for the comments on Anjali. Not sure of her shoulder height. How do you measure it. Standing or sitting position for the dog?

Thanks for your compliments mate. Well what i did during and after the event was i sprinkled cold water on nash's body instead of normal water as their b. temperature's higher than us and considering that the weather was really hot to us, it'd be 10 times hotter for them.That's why Nash wasn't really worn out like i've expected.He was just plain exhausted from the running and walking. Yes i'll definitely bring that young and wild one next gathering.I didn't consider bringing her as she has a very wild temper and too hyper-active (due to her JRT blood.She's a mixed) and can't sit still just for a single minute!

i was there with my mom and bf. do not know how you all look at all. feel so lost there not knowing anybody there but i manage to touch every single dog there. hahaha...checking out all the retrievers and i find the police lab (a.k.a. george) is sooo cute! Smile

btw, who was the one on the mike most of the time? where were u all? who is mr.khoo? tell me! tell me! Crazy

Btw, congrats on winning the waggy tail contest ! I didn't see your doggiein action (too bad) any photos to show ? and which doggy was that ? I missed seeing all the actions n fun la.... but I'm glad everyone including the doggies enjoyed !

Most of us is still tired from the K9 Day's function and I'm sure it'll take us a lil while before we have the strength to organise another gathering. Why not you be the organiser this time round Wink
