Yup. You don't need to apply the whole body. Only 1 spot will do. But must be at the skin. So, you just need to part the fur untill you can see the skin and then picit the liquid on to the spot. The medication will take 24hrs to spread all over your wow wow's body. So, if those blood suckers bite your wow wow, they will get poison attack and drop off.

Re: [kaychia] We need to brush our doggies' teeth??? [In reply to] Can't Post

meanin the chemical solution will absorb thru the dog's skin & spread itself throughout the entire body... hmmm... will go get the details & do some research 1st cuz i may be quite on the disagreein part on chemical solutions that work in this manner. reason bein this type of chemical solution may need a higer dosage if u would want it to spread thru the entire body, therefore if u apply on the exact same spot every time u use it, u may clog the skin cuz these chemical solution may not get dissolved evenly & entirely. might come to a point whr u will notice a skin irration, rash or worst inflamed skin on that exact same spot. i think better at the moment u use a t different area of the dog's skin 1st, i'l do go do saome research on the chemical solution 1st ok?? cuz every chemical solution have their exact mixin ratio, therefore over dosage may happen if we're jz a little careless here with this chemical solution

cheers

hi,

how much is it per tube? and how do we know how much to apply on the skin ah?one tube normally can use for how long? so it will last for 1 mth as well?

sorry ya...too many questions...

today din notice any ticks on their body but saw 1 on the floor!!! so...i must KILL them all!!!!!!!!!!!Mad

Better don't use frontline so often. Spot on not so bad compare the spray one. The chemical will damage the dog coat!!!

Once your dog is free from fleas & ticks try to keep your dog indoor & keep your dog & house clean & dry all the time. This is the best way to prevent your dog getting ticks & fleas.

Re: [jessicaohh] We need to brush our doggies' teeth??? [In reply to] Can't Post

I bought my Frontline during the event held in Central Park. If I recall correctly, the spot on will depend according to the weigh of the dog. Just check at the box. Just like when you buy the heartguard for your Sasha, the frontline spot on is according to the type wether it is small , medium or large breed dog. I bought mine at RM60 per box of 3 for large breed dog. You have to empty 1 tube per application. So, one box can last you for 3 months.

I think for Sasha will be cheaper coz she is a toy dog mah...dosage sure less than large breed dog.

Maybe the anal sacs are empty that's why nothing come out. Or your technique is wrong. Get vet or some experienced person to show you lor. If everything's working fine, sometimes, when your dog poo poo, you will also see the anal fluid squirting out.

that's normal ler, she's just cleaning up her kacheng. Nothing wrong with that. It's only if it's excessive, and she starts scooting on the floor and there's obviously something there irritating her, that you have to do something.

yup, doggies squat down with their hind paws, above ground, their arses touchin the floor. then they use their front paws to pull emselves forward with their arses rubbin on the ground. they do this for few reasons though. cleanin their arses or scratchin an itch. so u can monitor if they do this too often, then its a little no no

oh..so u mean after bathe, we can apply d straightaway..coz last time i tot we need to wait for about 3 days, then only apply....(for spray la)...

yeah..the ticks i found are the blood suckers....ooo...how i hate them...

i applied the spray on them yesterday....now din really notice la...but hard to tell lo...coz the other day i din notice any also until i bathe them......

jessicaohh..

so the frontline spray u spray b4 take sasha out? or after come bac then bath her, then apply the spray?

was tinking, if after take her come bac, then she will be with ticks.

hi,

normally i'l spray once every mth...but come to think of it..it;'s chemical...if they are ok, don think it's good to spray so often...so i'm planning to only spray when i notice ticks lo...

yeah, u r rite...by dat time, got ticks d lo...but once u spray, the ticks will only b on the fur and won touch the skin..so easier for u to catch lo...

only spray her before or after 48 hours of bathing to be effective...

Yup. Avoid frequent spraying of frontline. If you notice only got one tick just catch the tick and kill. No need to spray frontline.
