Hello ... 
At 6months your doggie is still a baby ... curious about everything even insects ... * ... this is normal ...
And personally, I am glad your doggie likes people ... it is okay & good too (better than having a fierce dog at 6 months) ...
As your doggie grows up, she will learn to distinguish between family members and strangers ... and (I think) she will start barking soon enough ...
