Smilehi,

ionised water is something similar to alkaline pH water and it contains more oxygen. RO water is not good coz it flush out all the nutrients frm our body, it's basically mend for ppl with diabetes etc, this is my 2 cents anyway Tongue.

HI nathalie

yes, unfortunately the problem persists. I used to work in an Engineering company that builds water treatment plants so that's why i know of the conditions there. Tongue

My family invested on a water treatment system that uses activated compressed carbon and UV light. filters sediments, kills viruses and bacterias but maintains all natural minerals. Wink

Re: [nickanna] What type of WATER? [In reply to] Can't Post

hello, Smile

From my understanding, distilled water removes bacteria and viruses and inorganic contaminants but again, most beneficial minerals are removed. Also because it generates high heat, certain chemicals with low boiling point like chloroform can't be removed.

My dad was pretty concerned about getting a system that maintains the minerals cause he did some research and our family dentist told us that he has experienced many tooth decay cases from families who drink RO/distilled water because of the lack of minerals like flouride for our teeth. Pirate I think that scared him....hehehehe LaughLaugh
