First I would like to thank you Realitydreamer for your concern. My husband took Cookie to the vet and it was the a combination of the Vicks and his flea collar that irritated his skin. He scratched it so much that he cut his skin open! Frown

But the doctor gave him some antibiotics and some spray for the wound and he's going to be o.k.
