Hey guys - my this is a great website, something I have always wanted Malaysians to do. I studied in the US and there good dog sites and boy, am I glad to have found you people.
I have two dogs - a cocker spaniel named Tipsy and a Rottweiler named Brutus. I just love them to bits and I am so excited to have the chance to participate in fun games with them during the coming DOG CARNIVAL that is going to be held in Mid Valley Exhibition Centre from the 6th and 7th of December. Guess what? The theme is 60's which is one of my favourite eras. I hope some of you will reply to me and tell me if I can meet you there - it will be fun to meet up with friends. Want to participate - I think there is a website or something - let me check, ok here it is www. .com.my or www.mipe.com.my. I saw the poster in my petshop, but I don't want to be the only one there. I want to be there with FRIENDS!!!!!

Nice to meet you too. About the advertising bit... I am a bit nervous about entering my dogs in the carnival as Tipsy and Brutus have not participated in a dog show before so I am "advertising' in the hope more people like me will take part. I am not even sure if I should enter only one dog (Tipsy) or both.
Ohh yeah, this is a marvelous site...pack with lots of information...the problem is how are you gonna stuff it all in ur brain in just a short period of time...hehe
Yah, past week i went to pet world and saw the ads there and i guess my Tau Tau won't be able to participate...'cause she is still a naughty girl...
I bet it would be a great carnival there...guess i gonna go there as early as possible to avoids all the jam n stuff...hehe
Oh, there are tons of stuff you can do in the Dog Carnival - but I am taking part in the Dog & Owner Lookalike (with Tipsy, lah not Brutus) - the winner gets to be on the cover of magazine - WOW! - and I am entering Brutus for the Eukanuba Superdog and the Hills Science Diet MIPE champion. Do you know that the first prize is RM500, with trophy and stuff worth RM500??? And you get a door gift even if you don't win. I also would like to take part in the Dog Colouring Competition but my dogs aren't white and so how can I colour them? I am also entering Tipsy for the Fancy Dress Competition - I am making her a mermaid suit. See how much time you have on your hands when you are unemployed? Ha! Ha!
Fancy Dress Competition? Sounds cool. I think I'm gonna dress up my Dog in a small Man Utd jersey and put a Man Utd cap on her cute furry head. She can come as a Man Utd fan, like me! :)
enter both of your babies and have fun!! doesn't matter if they're amateurs or veterans...the main point is to have fun with your doggies. let's see if i can make it to the carnival as well....must be loads of fun with so many doggs......
Thanks for letting us know of the event... wud definitely go when the time comes but dunno if i will join any of the event or not (maybe the most naughtiest dog n owner category lar) hehehe !

Welcome to the forum! Without you, I wouldn't even know that there'd be a pet carnival in midvalley!! Hopefully, there will be another gathering before the event so that you will be able to make some friends before the event!!

WOW! That's the best idea I've heard -yep, I think The Dog & Owner Lookalike and the Fancy Dress Categories are going to be the hottest items in the Dog Carnival!! I bet you will win with that real cool idea of yours. Now I know how to recognise you, lah!
Great....so what categories are you taking part in? I am now wondering if Brutus would be able to take part in the Eukanuba Superdog but I am so worried that he will stop in the middle of everything and embarrass me!! This is precisely what he does everytime I take him for a walk - that mean old dog!!!
