Hi Kaerb,

Sorry to dissappoint U but I'm not very sure abt the working dog's scene in S'pore ! Blush

All I know is they have a active GSD club who list ScH training & breed survey as part of their activities. Smile
Personally, I have only seen once, they did a short ScH's protection demo during one of their "Specialty Show" judge by our country very own "SV judge". Wink

Hmmmm.....maybe they were trying to tell "him" something...but too bad he didn't catch the drift...he
he he..! Tongue

As for ur query abt their military or police k9, that I m not too sure, but I have seen their custom's K9 they used variety of breeds...like spaniel, Lab, Mal, Dutch S and chk this ... out Weimaraner (sp ?)...that's kinda of cool ! Cool

BTW I m sure u must have seen them since U r just one "Causeway" away..he he he..! Wink Laugh

"""anyway thank you for commenting, i have learned a bit more today. you seem very experienced, would like to meet up one day."""
----------------------------------------------------------
No problem ! we r all here to learn from each other!Wink ... but just wanna clarify something here.....I'm very-very new to the K9 world so real experience is one thing I DO NOT have ...! ! but not too worry there is a few "Si Fu" on board that can guide & advice us ! Wink

If u wanna meet up, just contact Colin...I'm sure we can all come up wt an arrangement to meet somewhere in JB. Smile

Re: [hunter] Military K9 in Action [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Hunter,

no lah, if u look at it carefully, the outer edge of the nose is still dark in pigmentation. This is what we call a winter/snow nose, which means dark in the summer and will fade during the winter. The pigment will come back and do not despair.

For my Bonney, her eyes, lips, pad, and nose is pink in color and no pigment at all, (this is not a fault if her color is a chocalate lab) but a major fault if she is black and yellow. So for those labs that without pigment is called Dudley.
