Yes, I'm the Schnauzer guy. The orientation day (or pre-meeting as you called it) will be held at Padang Merbuk and yes, you can bring your doggie along. You will also witness the graduation ceremony for all those trainees who have passed the Basic Obedience Course exam ( a.k.a. CGC) held on 29Sep. After that, there's usually a short demo by one of the trainer and his dog demostrating the finer points of obedience at the open level. This team has trained for at least 4yrs together and is a joy to watch! BTW, in the obedience world, we start with the Basic Or Canine Good Citizen course, followed by Pre-Novice, Novice, Intermediate, Open and Utility. Each stage is progressively more demanding from both the handler and dog (eg. from Novice level onwards, the excercises call for the dogs to go OFF LEASH) Rdgs Arthur
