I might let my new pup try it. But hear that it is good for Large Breed dog too. coz u know la... GR has this potential of Hip Displacis problem, prevention is always better loh~ If I had the chance to see , I will persuade the current owner to get Nupro for him la.

Aiya just started cannot judge yet la but he's still not taking kibbles Anyway I was already giving him Keepers Mix which made him grow back his fur after mange and get him to look fluffy again. So hopefully now that I alternate with Nupro, can make him fluffier lor....
Your Bean so young...sure la more playful Better savour each moment now or else when he grows up already you'll be missing all the siao siao stuff he does as a puppy!! hehehe...

Hi ya Mack2 ...
Checked the N*pro site and had a look at the ingredients ... sounds good ... certainly very coat & skin oriented ... contains all the elements recommended for good coat/skin ... Bee pollen is not normally found in other supplements, but have read that it's generally very good for combating allergies ...
Don't think you can go wrong giving this supplement a try ... get a small tin and see how it goes ...

OH THANKS, surchinmy!!!!
Since you mentioned that it's "certainly very coat & skin oriented....", would you suggest to give this to PUG which has skin problem (but not mange)? I'm currently taking care of a PUG who's facing skin problem with unknown root-cause, still monitoring, hope will be determined after narrowing down the possibilities by altering the diet.

Hello ...
Aaaah ... you have a puggie with you ... ...
Assuming the pug is adult ... or more than 8 weeks old ... the supplement should be okay ...
Suggest that you take it slow though - maybe give 1/2 the recommended amount for the 1 week or so (to see how the pug reacts), before going to full recommended amount ... (10-20 lbs - 1/2 scoop).
Dogs with skin condition can be sensitive to supplements. Over-supplementation can be as bad as under-nutrition ... and the correct amount of N*pro to give may depend on the diet the pug is currently receiving
Best wishes

welcome back!!!
Listened to what you said about giving too much nutrition the last time. So now, sticking to about 3-4 times BARF of raw chicken neck + keepers mix/nupro OR canned food + keepers mix/nupro mix with kibbles. Plus half an apple a day for him to chew. Gets once a week oats & honey meal with kibbles too.
I give him Brewer's Yeast twice a week and 2 cloves of garlic each week. Cod liver oil about 3 times a week.
He's improving at a very much faster rate. Poo seems to be much better too...hehehe. I think I just found the right eating schedule for him...hopefully it's not over feeding with nutrition??

Hi ... thanks ... glad to be home too ...
Sparkle's diet sounds good ... as long as Sparkle is doing well then his diet is okay ... so, it looks like you have found the right balance for him ... well done! ...
You may wish to use either Keeper's Mix or N*pro ... the ingredients are reasonably similar & they do tend to duplicate each other ... so, one should be sufficient and you can save some cost ... If you choose to use N*pro, it (if I am not mistaken) already has Brewer's Yeast.

Oh yes, jaga Sookie now for Ai-Ney and considering if going to adopt her to my household. Still... I'm not convinced with the idea of adoption though..... But i think should recommend NUPRO to Sookie/Ai-ney. Now, Sookie is on medication.

Oh yes. BUSY. but he's doing very well with his schedule. 2 hours makan & play play & pee-poo time, then 2 hours Zzzzzzz time, during night time, once i switch off the light, he can sleep for 6 hours continuously. He will wake up few times to get some water... but won't make noise.
