Hi mochacappucino,

I think it is a very subjective thing. Rationally, one should. But most people jump into it "impulsively" and enjoy the adventure as well.Wink

I had some really basic for living knowledge before I got Salsa, that is, that a dog had to eat, drink, a comfy place to sleep, stipulated time to pee pee and poo poo! I hadn't really considered the amount of time and attention that I had to give to her before getting her, but when I got her, the attention, time and loving came naturally. Smile

I do agree with you. It all just came naturally to me as well.

I think the basic thing I am referring to may possibly covers everything, which is simply responsibility ! Wink

Yes, I do think it's very important. Smile

The "adventure" is ok..as long the dog does not end up on the streets or unwanted and is treated well.

well i think it's the THING before owning a dog.....basically it's responsibility...or else there r more strays on the road...but as long as u have a dog..i believe u'll slowly larn from expereince.Smile
