As long as you do not jerk her too hard, it should be ok.

Btw, how old is Kinki?(sorry..i forgot Blush)

If she's an adult, it's going to be a little difficult.

There are a few methods.

The easier one is to get a gentle leader. Slip it on, let her get used to it..and voila~ Smile

The other is to teach her to walk next to you. First, you can start with a smaller space. Like in your garden. Keep her by your side. If she pulls u, pull/jerk her back into place and say a low "NO" or a command like "don't pull" etc.. Continue walking. As long as she's by your side, praise her. At the end of a short session, gv her treats.Short session meaning starting fr 1m or below then extending the length...if she does not pull, gv her a treat. Later on, do the samething outside. Note: SInce it's out of the garden, she'll get more distracted with all the sights, sounds and smells. It will take more time. But in a while she'll know the concept in the garden applies to outdoors too.

Be careful not to set goals which are too high. You'll get frustrated and so will Kinki. A big no-no for training.

Hope it helpsSmile

kinki is roughly 5 months old or maybe 6 months.

i'll try out your method.

and yes, she's can easily be distracted, everytime when i play fetching the ball game with her. if she sees a housefly flying across her, she'll forget what she's suppose to do and run back to me without the ball.

have you ever called a vet to come to your house?
today i called up a private vet to come to my house to have kinki vaccine, but he said that he will charge me RM100 extra.
do you think that's too expensive?

Nah....never.

yea.....i think it's VERY expensive. The vaccine itself costs less than RM 100 or around there.

Why don't u just bring him to the vet?

Talk to your parents. Discuss a date when they're free. Then take Kinki to the vet?

hi,

after taking vacination, your dog's immune system is temporary down, hence if you bathe her, she might get sick easily.

Just like human baby after vaccination they might or might have fever not depending to the body. For prevention sake avoid bathing for few days anything might happen after vaccination and the advise is "Don't bath your dog"

hi,

no, have never did house call.. always vet visit for my dog.

100 bucks is expensive! try finding a transport... save the money. the extra money is better off spent on kinki's yummy treats :p

hi,

uhh? sorry, i meant when u take your dog for vaccination, the vet will fill in the next date in a card which u need to take your dog for its next vaccination.

if ur dog has not yet been taken for a vaccination before, i strongly advise u to do so as soon as possible. better safe than sorry :)

hi

sorry, but i really am not sure which vaccination combinations to select. what i do is to get those that are done with only 1 shot... i think it somehow protects the dog from several diseases?

i'm not sure, do consult your vet for advice :/
