well, my GR is not a big eater..and he doesn't wolf down his food either. i'm currently feeding him canidae (abt 2 cups only)..am also feeding him chicken neck bones..so i cut down on the kibble when i have bones.. can't really calculate how much i spend on him monthly...but you could set back about RM 50-80 for your dog each month..just to be safe in case you need something else..

aiks aiks.. sorry for my late reply... i am doing my industrial training now and not going to campus lo for this semester... i pay RM160 for my rental and staying with 3 of my housemates.. well.. we will find one day to meet lah since we are staying so near... but have to wait until my Sam finish all the vaccination.. I went over to your house but no one was there.. only one lonely motorbike. Yours ah? no sign of the dog also??? How much is the whole house? last time I was paying RM600 for the whole house. Now I am staying Daisy that side. Bigger la my room.. hahahah... bahagia...

Wah....wat time did you come over to my place....i am having my industrial training now so i won't be at home lor....i only come back around 6.30.....of course no sign of the dog..... my little sam sleeps in my room..... so no one knows i have a dog...cause he is quiet when i am not around he just sleeps... so where exactly do you stay now??? daisy?? where is it??Anyway i am paying em 600 also so ok lar...Haha the motorbike is not mine it belongs to my hse mate/...Adios Adios Dan The Dog Man, Dog Lover....WO..WO..

hahaha.. sam sleeps in your room in a cage is it? doodle used to sleep in my room too when I was undergoing internship. Poor fella has to wait till I come back. That's how I toilet train him and it work. Some more that time I stayed in a house where my house mate doesn't like dog. Squeel each time at the sight of doodle. I had to carry doodle up and down. Now so much better. The whole garden belongs to doodle. Come out la one day about 7pm? i want to see your dog. Can?

Ya he sleeps in his crade in my room....poor thing...Have to leave him alone in the room while i am away!! Well how to toilet train him while he is caged up for about 10 hours he sure go potty in his crade.... cannot tahan so long...but my industrial training will end in a month time so he will have to bear with me lor....:( yeah all my housemate don't like him....i can't even bathe him in my bathroom....they say he stink :(( i felt so hurt when they say that to me.... but there is nothing i can do but sam understand my situation i guess... at least he felt it.... he doesn't bark anymore when i am not around....he used to bark till my house mate called and tell me ur dog is barking like one mad dog.....:(( i dun dare to bring him out of the room when my house mate is around.... i guess they dun really like me doing that ( playing with him in the hall ). hi
i am not sure whether this is the right thing to do. I mean, having a dog when your housemate disagree. It will make you feel very sad. I was going through the same too and I really hated myself and hated my housemate. Sometimes even feel like giving up doodle. So I knew i had to do something. That feeling was driving me crazy. Now, I am staying with more supportive housemates where they love doodle as much as I do.
People who don't love dog will eventually say that they stink. Maybe you can try getting the odor remover... or getting a mango shampoo? it does help.. maybe a little? doodle smell good each time after a bath. My housemates will pat him even more!
As for your dog, if you want and if you feel better, you can leave him with me when u go to work. I can help to toilet train him. Or at least keep an eye on him. Doodle was all alone during my training and that was how I trained him. Before going to work, I will make sure that he poo and pee. Then leave him inside the cage. When I come back, I will carry him to the designated area for him to poo. After a few times like that, he knows that he is suppose to poo at a certain place. So, I don't have to clean his cage anymore. Cause he knows where to go and when to do it.
