well, it depends though..If the dog were to spray on the wall..I would rather have him squat..

But if he knows where he should pee..then go right ahead.. Smile

Well,

Lady & Sasha are both female dogs. But I do have 1 Male cocker before who squat and pee. And sometimes if the fella's mood not good, he'll roll over and pee all over his body... Crazy

Hi,

Nime stand and sprays all over the ground....i have a friend, his female shih tzu actually atands and sprays like a male...weird rite? Maybe sh'e just dominant Smile

Your dog roll and pee all over the body??? That's shocking ... first time hearing of that... My dog (female maltese) won't pee on herself but instead she'll smell the female shih tzu and pee on her instead. ha..ha..ha... Tongue

eh..

i thought the question was whether or not the dog squat or not is "acceptable" oops...sorry Crazy

tyson's still young so still squatting. But so far my older dogs don't squat and lift their legs..

Weird character ur maltese had...i've seen male dogs urinating on female dogs but not like what u've mentioned Shocked

She only pees on a particular dog or all the female doggies? I can see that u have many long-haired breed...if so u have to bath them alwayslah Tongue

Of course, Puppies all squat to pee.... am talking about adult dogs or growing to be adult dogs.... Wink

To me, male dogs lift to pee is their gender instinct.

I think she only pees on that particular female. The other small dog is a male and the rest of the females are lab... so definitely she can't pee on them.

Not really a difficult task to bath them cos I've trimmed their hair very short. Wink

hi Mack2,

Rex is 20 months old... he does both. .. However I won't use the word 'squat' .. , he's just standing with 4 legs up.. and pee. When he sees a 'stump' then he will up his leg.
