hhmm..many people have doggie with bad breath..reason is because never brush their teeth..so...how arrr?? What/how to brush their teeth ar??I heard cannot use human toothpaste because fluride is no good for doggie...but someone suggested I use the Lion toothpaste for children...or just use doggie parfum sold in pet shops...got any tips???

Hi Pat, Welcome to the forum.. Actually you can buy doggie toothbrush and toothpaste in Malaysia..where are you from?? I know the pet shop in subang sells..but unfortunately, there isn't a wide range of products you can choose from...

She is a terrier mix aged 9 months and so far my life with a dog has been GRREAT! As the first and only child, I spoil her rotten but would definitely consider another dog in the future! Hi Pat, You dont really need to brush your dogs teeth except that they are really lots of tartar that had built up. Try this, all you need to do is buy some of the bones (big one, from lamp, pig, sheep, cattle...) so that the dog can chew it. Carefull not to give too much to the pup as this bone is quit abbrasive. My i give onece or twice a month to keep their teeth clean. I am a true German Shephard lover.

Lee ~ I used to feed my old doggie bones but now I stopped..bones did help clean his teeth but I can't remember if bones helped his breath..would you care to refresh my memory..
Bad breath from doggie's mouth comes from diet.Nothing else. Any body tells me that because of doggie's teeth, I'll eat my hat!!! Diet, digestion,enzyme,saliva are the (4) major factors that caused bad breath. I dare to challenge anyone to prove it otherwise. This very statement should indicate, how much research I have put into related doggie topics. As for Rainbow, who wishes to learn how to brush doggie's teeth, I'll show you this afternoon. Very sorry, Grooming is one area I know nothing. I may end up eating my shoes instead of my hat!! But I can try and use my common sense, hopfully there is still some left by this afternoon.
