Hi Kevtain,

Welcome onboard! If you are looking for a lab breeder, the can provide the contact nos for you. Just do NOT ask them how much a lab puppy cost.. MKA keeps the register of purebred dogs. They stress that they do NOT monitor or control the prices of puppies! Crazy Nevertheless, there are several lab owners here in this forum whom I'm sure wouldnt mind helping out a fellow lab-owner-to-be!

Hi,

Please call MKA at and tell them that you need breeder infomation on the breed that you want and they will definitely able to give you a few.

Alternatively, please read through Star classified and you too will be able to find some advertisement on Lab.

Cheers

All puppies are Dewormed when they are 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, 8 weeks, 10 weeks, 12 weeks old and then every three months. The puppies will either take deworming pills or liquid according to their weight at that time.

After the age of 3 months, you can keep your dog worm free by deworming your dog every three months. Continue until your dog say bye bye to you Smile

Well, if you do not deworm your puppies, they may be infested with roundworms or other type of worms sooner or later. I still remember that one of the puppies that I bought which was not properly dewormed by the breeder. On the 2nd day when we brought him home, he vomited 2 round worms from his mouth and pass some 15 round worms from his anus. That is definitely an ungly sight.

Many puppies that are not dewormed have little chance of growing to adulthood.

Hello,

I just took kiddie for her final vac last Sat. The vet recommend me to give her a heartworms pill to be taken monthly.

Is it necessary for her to take this pill? As you were mentioning that the pup only need to be deworm once in 3 mths rite?

If she took the heartworm pill, does she need to deworm again?

Thank you for your patient.

Hi Melanie,

I'm new to this forum and a new dog owner as well, but just to clarify with u, deworm and heartworm is two different thing all together.

If i'm wrong, pls feel free to correct me.

ThankYou
