Outstation Shows eg. Johor,Penang,Ipoh Can't Post

Hi,

I know it's too early to ask as the next show is in Selangor but I am curious on shows which are out of Selangor (I am starying in PJ).

Where do we keep our dogs ? Hotels does not allow dogs or do you just travel on day of show? Will it over strain the dogs?

Also where do you let the doggies wee and poop during such long journeys? Will they allow dogs at the R&R on the highway?

Thank you
Cheng See

Many doggie cheers,

Cheng See

HI Cheng See,

I've attended a few shows outstation and hopefully this will answer some of your queries:

1. Where to stay? the usually has an arrangement for its members to stay at a nearby hotel that also accomodates pets. Some will let you have the pet INSIDE the rooms, some have a special area set aside for pets somewhere on the hotel premises eg. carpark.

2. Travel wz Dogs? Yes, for nearby venues eg.IPOH or Melaka, you can make it a day trip and start like 5am to reach there by 7-something. The doggies normally WILL be exhausted by the end of the show, but it's not a big deal. My furkids are normally knocked out and sleeping like babies on the return journey. Next day, watch out! As active as ever! As for reststops, we usually just keep going cos' everyone can tahan the entire journey(max. 5-6 hrs) Of course, don't tank up on water just before the journey.Wink If you MUST stop, then it is advisable to do so somewhere BEFORE/AFTER a rest area. This is to take into account the sensitivities of our multi-racial society. And the PLUS highway has a NO DOGS signs at ALL their rest areas. Unsure
