Oh My God! I can't believe this! Sunny been doing this to me since last night we were playing the fetch game. Suddenly he stood up and grab my knee and doing that kind of.. erm.. move Hmm.. anyone knows why he doing this? Or.. he is just too exhited playing game? Or??? Btw.. Sunny is just 4 months old and 16 days old.

Puppies has instint to act in that manner when they are as young as 4 to 5 weeks old. They will do it on their puppymate but that does not mean that they are matured enoungh for matting. They will mature when they are about a year of age.

So Sunny boy is starting to do the "hump"?
Don't worry. My schnauzer girl also tries to hump me and the missus. Seems like its a phase they go thru like our webmaster said. For my case, it was a period where Pepper (my female Schnauzer) wanted to establish her dominace over us. Of course we firmly put a stop to this. Whenever she tried to hump our leg, we bend our knees sharply to throw her paws off together with a loud firm "NO!". It worked for us after a few times. She got the message.

Oh!! My god my god!!! I have the same problem for my boxer. But it was to my surprise that my female was doing that ... mating move... to my younger male!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How come it can be like that and not the other way round?????...
Any advise???

My puppy is doing that too! He is only 6 weeks old, my husband and i also thought that he was to young for that 'move'. Glad im not the only one with this going on.

So now we are talking about 'humping' huh?
I guess Teddy knew me and bf are the dominant/alpha party that he would never do the action on us. But he will attack those in my family and also my bf's. All the humping is done on our hand/arm.
There were once though Teddy wanted to do that on me. The moment i said NO, no mroe sign of it.
Such a cute little boy. That's why I am finding for a temporaly gf for him. Anyone?? hheheheh Regards Lisa
