Hello there,
Trivor will have her 8 mth old BD on 8/8...
I find that book is pretty useful with clear step-by-step direction. I am inexperience in dog, but I can easily understand how it works. We have trained Trivor for 2 mth already, and it worked just right!
Ohhh, so you have decided to get a GR?? Welcome to the GR club!!!! Laugh

Dear Sir/Madam,

i am a 15 yr old student living in london. i read that you have bought the e-book "TeachYOUR DOG 100 ENGLISH WORDS" by Michele Welton.

i would just like 2 ask if u could find it in ur heart 2 email me a copy of this book as i do not have a credit-card and cannot ask my parents 2 get it for me.i do not have any other family living here in london.

at first, they did not want me 2 get a dog, and after alot of rows and disputes i somehow got them 2 buy me a beautiful doberman pup-Tyson.

in the past they have threatened 2 take tyson 2 the local dogs home if i ask them 2 buy me something for tyson. this is why i was wondering if u could email me the copy of the book. tyson and i would be very grateful if you could do so. if you decide 2 kindly email me the eBook, my e-mail address is as follows at liamtoh( which has been spelt backwards otherwise it would not appear)> ninja_dragon_1@liamtoh . com

>i am very desperate to begin training tyson as he is now 2 months old and growing quickly, and i do not want 2 prolong the training.

thanking you in anticipation

Hi doberman_1,

Welcome and I have read your posting. Do not be too concern with the book presently but get to know your puppy and walking it on leash etc. Your puppy do noy really need to know 100 english words. The two posting before yours are dog lovers who has been where you are and now going forward to another stage. Spend time taking to your pup you will be shock to see how taken it will be to you when it is 5 - 6 months old. Most important is get it to know your parents. Dobermanns are a one person dog so socialising with the family at this age is vital. I am certain RealityDreamer, from what one can gather is alos a Dob owner/lover will agree with me. Have fun.

Hi,

Hv to agree tht your pup doesn't really need to know 100 words but it would be quite fun if he did. Pls read up and understand the breed as well as dogs in general. It will help alot with your training, for both you & Tyson.

As PSY already mentioned, dobes r a one person dog (if u read their history,u'd know y).I once had a dog(also a one owner type of breed) who would listen to me obediently but when it came to my family, they can be screaming and screaming ans he wouldn't even flinch. Try getting your parents to play with the pup (i know it's going to be difficult..my parents arent really "doggy" ppl and I had to go through alot to get my first dog) and forming a bond with your parents. Depending on how high his pack drive is,let's hope he bonds easily and quickly and will listen to them as well without a doubt. It would make everyone happy.

Also,u can try searching the net, including this forum and u can find out alternatives to training your dog.Make sure the information is right though.

Check out this site:

www.leerburg.com

it should help u get started.

P.S. is ur account big enough to receive the file? it's abt 4 mb.

All the bestSmile
