I think u better go for check up. The other time my sister got bitten by a shih tzu and bleed, she only went and get an injection.

To prevent is better than to cure.

Hope your leg is better now. You have to punish your pup and be very very firm with it. I know some do not believe in physical punishment but in this case, a couple stroke of rotan is called for. You have to do it after such incidents and not now as it doesnt undertsand otherwise.

Hello Smile ...

No lar ... it's not that the puppy or dog has aquired a taste for blood ... Tongue ... unless you got the "Transylvania Vampire Hound" ... but those are very rare and almost extinct ... LaughSlyTongue...

Seriously though ... you have to be very firm with a doggie that bites its owner ... Dogs bite for a variety of reasons ... and it's very IMPORTANT that you correct it now ... if it is not corrected - it can develop into a bad and serious habit ...

There are several methods of training & correction ... the correct or appropriate method will depend on the following factors:

(a) What breed is your dog? How old is your dog?

(b) When dog bites? Does it just mouth or actually bite hard enough to puncture your skin?

(c) Does dog give any warning before it bites? Does the dog growl first? ... Does the dog show teeth?

(d) When and how does it usually happen? ... How often does it occur? Please describe.

(e) Who has the dog bitten?

Cheers

SmileHi,

I hope that u r ok now...just a word...u have to punish ur dog or at least be firm...u can raise ur voice or use a newspaper...just to scare him..if u don't he'll keep on doing it n all of us know it's not a good behaviour rite?Smile

There's always a limit to pamper ur dog..if u don't start now...like my friend, she starts biting her for no apparent reasons even when she's combing herFrown
