Such a big problem meh.... maybe i didn't really thought of the consequences.. I thought it would help that's all.. it' not like they can post up their opinion or something.. just thier contact and what breed they have..

If i remembered correctly (u know lar Ah EE liao mah memory also dah hilang sikit), the old members directory showed all members names by alphabetical order with email addresses and are they on visible or invisible mode, when did they join, when was the last time they posted or never posted before, when the last logged in, etc....yes u can go to who's online but that only shows who's online at the time....u can click at a member's nick and view some of the details but then again u need to click the nicks individually....the members directory lets u see everything at one go.

How do u stop them frm not posting their opinions? If they realised that there are ppl interested in their pups and they know about this forum they'll all come in to get biz...FOC to them....then our webmaster will be very busy deleting and banning everyone ha ha ha

hmm.. i think that they also can do it now right? no any different compare with now
sometime some members asking about where they can see a reliable or good breeder, i think that jaz's list would help a lot coz Jaz already know their background and will eliminated those disqualified one. Just saying "try go to see at puppy.com" is useless, until now, I still cant see any breeders of breeded dog in this forum other than some guarddog breeds...most current members here just own the dog but dont breed dog.
call MKA? not every breeded puppies will be registered and we don't know those breeders background too.
We can do more than just saying "Stop puppy mill or pet shop" by mouth..

It is already the BEST that we could do now. There's other factors need to be considered, not everything is so ideally... of course, in future, we hope to see more implementations. But i would say, the forum has give the best to serve it purpose at this very moment, which is to raise AWARENESS to the doggie-community and to avoid any conflicts that will cause any harm to such a friendly forum. just my humble opinion.

Yeah~ agree with you too. It is a good idea but maybe not the right timing, or maybe there's other consequences which we dunno. But i think our starting point to have the list is good (as being true-dog-lovers and anti-puppymill) but who knows if that will bring any consequences which we cant foresee, and i'm not too sure if it comply with the forum policy.

Well guess it'll depend on the webmaster....i think if we hv a list of breeders posted out here, then the list of the breeders posted in the main webpage itself will make noise? Coz they had to pay for their names to be put into the list and here are these list of breeders who are getting it out free....so then they'll also want their contacts included FOC...so you shd ask whether our webmaster wants to play Santa Claus this year or not? ....unless the list is made out in such a way that it is different?

May be u can collect a list of qualified breeders/way to get dog/puppy, write it to a html page, upload to some web page... then post this web page to every web site regarding dog/puppy.
if u need some help to do a html page, u can tell me.(just simple one lah)
