HELP Can't Post

my dog is havin cherry eye, the third eyelid and its gland are swollen, i have been putting eye drop for him but the swelling doesn't subside , is there anyway to treat him beside surgery? Frown i'm worried about my dog, please helpFrown

You can not treat cherry eye at home it needs to be seen by a Vet.

Not only is the cherry eye, inflammation & infection of the third eye lid (haw) a major concern but also if there may be an ulcer on the cornea of the eye from the dog rubbing or scratching at the eye due to it being irritated & sore is also a major concern. Not all cherry eyes need surgery but most do. It would be best to have it diagnosed & treated by a Vet as the eyes are nothing to wait on or try & treat at home.
