My Rottie girl is turning 4 soon and I want to throw her a nice birthday party, plan to invite her doggy friends
Any idea where is a good place I can hold her party? My house is too small. Am thinking of a field, big garden or maybe an indoor hall where the dogs can all run around and play together.

Hey Yue! It's me, Melissa. How are you & Bessy? Gosh, haven't seen that crazy, bulldozer Bessmania for such a long time. And I can't believe she's turning 4 already! We should meet up again sometime. I am sure Bessy will be happy to see our dogs again. :) BTW, we now have 5 dogs. Did you know that?
I guess the best place to have her birthday party is either at Central Park or Desa Park City.

Hi Melissa and Amber and Chloe and Faith! Gosh, haven't heard from you in such a long time. Bessy misses your girls! Are you re-opening your boarding anytime soon? :(
Ya hard to believe the silly Bessy is turning 4! That's why thought give her a nice celebration (also good excuse for the humans to get together to eat hahaha)
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably do it in Central Park - but was wondering if there are indoor options cos the weather nowadays is so super hot.

We have reopened our boarding services but we are only accepting one dog at a time as there are already 5 large dogs in the house. Amber's turning 5 years old soon, can you believe that? Her face has grayed quite a bit.
Indoor ah? I don't know of any indoor places that will allow dogs to go off-leash & run around freely. Central Park is a good place to hold a dog party because it's a dog park & you won't have to pay to use the place whereas if you hold it in an indoor venue, you will most likely have to pay for the place & it will cost quite a bit..unless ofcourse, you don't mind paying. The best time to hold a party at the park is in the late afternoon/evening. At 5-6p.m., it definitely won't be hot.
BTW, do check out my List of Dog Friendly Places thread.

Bessy has been going for boarding with Lennie of Mamadog. Lennie is great! She loves Bessy and takes really good care of her. But will be nice for Bessy to meet your dogs again :)
Ya, I think i have narrowed my choice (not like I had much) to Central Park. Free is of course better :p

Hey Yue,
Just wanted to share with you some photos of Amber's birthday celebration today. She is now 5 years old. Oh & that puppy is my profile photo is Amber when she was only 3 1/2 months old. Look at how she has matured...The two Goldens on her left side are her son & daughter. :)

Your dogs are so super well trained! I can never get Bessy to wear any type of head gear!
Beautiful pics lah :D
I saw puppy Amber pics in your FB album. So cute! She was so tiny back then :) Sometimes I wish they would stay puppies forever. But their adult characters are so unique... just as well they grow up!!

Hi! Thanks so much for your list of places to go. I have one question - I saw pictures of you with your dogs in Port Dickson beach. Which part of PD beach is this? It looks more empty... did you just drive around and stop at the most empty looking beach?
