Is it good to rename dogs??

Dogs don't see it as a "name".

It's just a word they acknowledge as you wanting their attention. So it's not great to change their name. But if you're going to, it's easier to change it to something with two syllables & sounds similar.

OK, but don't do it too often I guess, I agree that they should sound similar. I changed mine from SaSa to Sasha, and Blackie to Becky.

Well... I've been looking online for an answer to this.... but i cant seem to find any article about it....

I've noticed that IPR's and animal rescue in U.S. does not really allow the name of the dog to be changed when the dog is adopted..

I'm trying to figure out the logic of this.. There must be some scientific reason behind this...
