There will be a hiking trip every Saturday & Sunday at a secluded construction hillside in Taman Equine, Seri Kembangan. It's not very far from Puncak Jalil, Bukit Jalil & Puchong.
*No need to pay to join! *Safe place for all dogs! Lots of space for them to run around. *The hill is partly fenced. *No stray dogs up there. *Dogs can go off-leash but they must have reliable recalls. *Lots of parking space. *There's a small creek up the hill that the dogs can play in to cool off. *The walk will take less than an hour to finish. *There are TWO routes but we only know one so far but will check out the second one very soon. *Good place for dogs & humans to exercise & to get-together!
Please check out link below for pictures of the site & for more information. Thank you!

Hey girl! We're still finding a way to sneak into that club house without getting caught but because there's a guard over there taking care of the whole place from morning till atleast 6p.m. everyday, it's proving to be a very difficult task to sneak in there. If we go at night, it's terribly creepy because there are no lights on except one at the guard house near the entrance. LMAO!!!

Actually that was exactly what I told my Mom the other day. I am SURE the guard wants money. If you pay him maybe RM50 or 100, he would allow us in. LOL! There's only one guard by the way.

Thanks for the tips for hiking at Taman Equine. I went there today with my doberman, the place is really isolated with no life or souls at all, but plenty of rocks..... ha ha.
Here is another good place to hike in Puchong......Air Hitam Forrest Reserve. Check out the link below. May be I will check it out this sunday!
Yes, the hiking site is pretty dead & very rocky. Afterall, it is an abandoned construction site or something like that. One of my dogs already had an injured foot walking up there but that's because she went into the bushes & probably stepped on a huge thorn but it's nothing serious. My dogs are obsessed with the bushes, I have no idea why. But what do ya expect? These things happen when you go to these kind of places. That's the reason why there are always signs saying, "Dilarang Masuk!" LOL! How did you find your way there? Do you live nearby us?
Oh wow! That forest looks like a cool place to go to. We're definitely going to check that place out tomorrow morning with our adult dogs. I cannot trust my puppies being off-leash in that kind of place yet, not 100% & we cannot handle 5 dogs all at one go in there. Have people brought their own dogs to that place before? Are we allowed to swim in the waterfalls?
The hike in that forest takes a pretty LONG time to finish so we'll only be going to the waterfalls to play & then turn back.

Looks like the hiking site at the abandoned roundabout is the only one left for us to go to plus, it's near our home. Why don't you come & join us this Saturday or Sunday? I already got a few people who are interested to join us this weekend.

We continued our walk eventhough it rained heavily. We were soaking wet when we finished it but we all had a fun time. It was nice meeting you there too! Hey, may I ask you where you got that harness for your Dobe? My male GR does weight pulling to develop his chest & muscles in his front & rear legs & I am using the normal nylon-type harness for him. I would like to get one like yours.

Yes, we still go there every Sunday. I am working every Saturday evening so there won't be any hiking on that day anymore. Contact us if you're interested to join.

hiii it seems ur a real doggie lover.. :) i bought a golden female recently n she s now reaching 4month, plus need lots of socializing for her. im new to malaysia so i dont kno much places around can u tell me a one good park or a any camping site or a free land area to take may doggie... ohh its much better if its near bukit jalil... i tried googling but it seems malaysians r soo neative about dog i really dont kno y they hate dogs.... :( thanxxx
I've listed quite a number of dog-friendly places in my other thread. Take a look at it if you haven't. If you're looking for places where you can walk/exercise with your dog, then go to Central Park & Desa ParkCity. You'll see quite a lot of people & dogs walking around in both those places.
Hope I helped.

hiii, thanx for ur reply.. i check all thos places 1 week back. it seems its pretty far as i told im new to malaysia so i dont kno about most of the places. me n my hubby drove all the way to desa park city, last week end... i love d place n it seems pet friendly too. but the problem is its 1hour from my home. ginger is still not ready to travel sooo far as she hates car trips.. :(......
as ginger is my 10th doogy im rasing up, but the 1st pup in malaysia i feels she needs more air... cos all doggies i had grew up had more air n socialising than ginger.... she seems doesnt like stagers pet her n she loves walking with me n she s always glued to me. she wont even out side with my hubby unless im not there.. :( she s such a sweet girl but i want her to be more socialized n hav fun.........
Unfortunately, I do not know of any dog-friendly places near Bukit Jalil. A few years ago, there used to be a park in Bukit Jalil that allowed dogs but because of irresponsible dog owners who did not bother to clean up after them, dogs are now banned from using the park.
