I am a responsible person and follow strict schedule with the lice medicine. It costs alot in long term but it was worth it. For 3 years my dog was FINE. last time when went to the dog day at Bandar Utama, my dog came back with lice appearing next day. then again at another gathering. I would like to know if any of you guys having the same problem? I am not letting my dog socialising with other dogs now and am wondering if I am being cruel...

U mean ticks? Dogs normally do not have lice. Lice prefer cats as their hosts. When a dog is on the move it does not pick up ticks. The only time when the ticks could attach to your pet is when he sits or rests on the grass. Sometimes it is also good to let your dog to have tick bites to build up immunity.
As you know, ticks have legs and have legs will travel. They could come from outside of your house. During tick season, no matter how hard you tried to control the parasites, you will never succeed
If your pet enjoys socialising and playing with other dogs then let him continue with his enjoyment. All you have to do is to apply Frontline spoton and that should solve your worries!!

If its fleas and ticks, they live in the grass. THey go on the dog mainly to feed. And the worst thing is, ticks can go up to 6 months w/o food, so if a tick falls onto a field, 6 months later they can still hop on to your dog.
Best thing to do is spot-on your dog, or just flea wash it when you see a tick
