Newbie Can't Post

Hi everyone,

Am a newbie here.

I own an adopted one-eyed male Shih Tzu for 5 years now (as per my profile pic). He had a hairstyle to intentionally have his missing eye covered. (Didnt want to scare kids that he has one eye)

Will defo holler to everyone as this whole forum thing is new to me.

Thanks.

Hi PamperedPooches... Welcome! Be proud of what you've done,.. Adopting a one-eyed ST. As for the hairstyle, it's trendy but you don't have to hide it or think that it would scare kids just cos he has only an eye.

Instead, you could educate kids that dogs are somewhat the same to humans. Some humans are born handicap and without sight too. So, kids might be able to relate, understand and accept dogs that way, and they in return would understand humans with the same fate.

Hi Lil Ant,

Thanks :)

This pooch is more than meets the eye LOL
Yes, initially I thought his one-eye would scare some kids. It kinda did scare 1 or 2.

However, Sparky has been a great dog with children and even adults.

Meanwhile, here's something he as a best buddy has inspired me to do as well!
