Problem identifying the quick	Can't Post

Dear all,

I have a black mongrel. Its nails are getting a bit long and I want to cut it but due to its pigmentation, I have difficulty identifying the quick. Does anybody have a tip on how to recognize the quick in dogs with black pigmentation?

turn your dog belly up and look at the nails from the bottom. the hollow ones can be cut.
