Don't past idiotic remarks if you do not read my post rightly. If you are unsure why not ask.
Whe she is off leash, I am always with the dog. As she is lacking confident, I am trying to help build her confidence. This doberman is even scare of a moving leaf (when the wind blows).
When I let her off leash, there is no one in the park except me. The park is right in front of my place and we seldom get visitors. Once I see people coming, I will put her on leash.
The incident happened when a stray dog passed by the park and the 3 mongrel took off after it, the doberman happened to see it and joined it.
She (the doberman) will not stay away from me, If she realises that I am not there, she will dash back to me.
Who the hell do you think you are to pass judgement, u dont even know me. Arshloff!!!

Shela,
Off leash your doberman and let him run in the field is safe as long as you socialize your dog well and properly trained for recall command. In fact, Rolex and I was with Puppy.com's K9 Trekkers to Bukit Gasing 2 weeks ago. Rolex really enjoyed the hike....there as another female doberman also named D'arcy. Both were off leash (50% of the time) during the hike. Ha Ha.....imaging 2 dobermans hiking on Bukit Gasing....with some of their friends - smaller breeds.
Soujorner,
I saw your posting on the adoption sector, did you give away your dobie for adoption but was later returned by the adoptor? You can go to Central park to socialize your dobie on sunday morning, MKA is having training there and some owner bring their dog to have fun in th park also...I was there the last 2 weekend......Rolex enjoyed it a lot

"Today, the 3 dogs chased a stray that came to our road (deadend road) and dobie joined them i...... However, she turned up 3 minutes later all excited"
Hmm...gramaticcal error I guess...Next time I'll read it wrongly to get it right.
BTW, no one has to know anyone here in order to comment. If you get offeded like this, you shouldn't be in open public forum. To save my image, I won't comment on your posting anymore so ur welcome to smack me again with your post safely.

Dear Vic,
No, I dont know you, but I know that i am replying to Vic, hehe. I am responding to your thread on May 18 where you said some owners take their dog to central park for socialising on Sundays, which happened to be MKA OB class days too.
And you said that you were there last 2 weekends. So I thought...anyway nevermind, i will find out in MKA website. Thanks!! Nice to know you.

Hi Pommymom,
I see!!! hehe
I went there few times with my dobie but never attend the OB, I train myself.
I think MKA have it on every Sunday morning, but I dont have the timetable. If you are interested in OB, you can enquire at the temporary counter MKA set up at the site.
