is it true? my outdoor danes tend to get ticks attack every raining season, it is still not too bad to tackle the ticks problem to outdoor dogs but my indoor yorkies get affected too then it is quite a problem for hairy small dog.
how u guys tackle or prevent it other than normal ticks medicine like bayticol or front line after discovering ticks.

Can't Post
mm..yea...i think normally bayticol n frontline should be used when ticks r found.
actually sometimes once in awhile..i'll use abit of bayticol n mix with lots of water to make it less poisoness but got prevention use ..n i'll spray every corner of the house n walls also.
but make sure ur outside dane is tied up far away b4 u spray n let the place dry then u can let him run around.
btw, i just wanted to ask..ur outside compund got any damped area? ticks got chances to hide there ..so if u have the damped area..make sure u dun store anything there..or when raining season like now..will really get ur dane real itchy.
or u can try to put on the tick's collar..but tat has to be when ur furkids r free from ticks.
