Re: [RealityDreamer] Training for Agility [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi there. I live in Seattle, Washington and my dogs compete in agility trials. I know there are many places to train for agility in Washington but from what I understand, there are none in Malaysia yet. Is this correct people?

I dont think your dog is too old. I have seen dogs about 10 or 11 years old doing it. They dont jump their full height and can compete in veterans class. I would love to talk agility training and competition. Here is rossieblake@attbi.com

Hi there,

Where are you from? KL? Penang? If you are from Penang, then I can let you know where to attend agility class.... I don't think any dogs are too old for competition as long as they are fit Laugh even dogs above 5 yrs can enter under veteran category, I don't see why yours can'tSly.

hey there,

MKA here is having an agility class around the corner. i think it started this week... 6pm on sundays.
not quite sure though as i've skipped today's class.

the purpose of this class is to expose this sport to dog lovers interested to try out agility. if you're interested you should ring up mka office anytime. the more people join, the merrier it would be.

btw, as milooh said, it's not old of ur dog to join at this point. after all, the whole point of participating in agility is not merely to win in competitions, but also to have lots of fun with ur pooch :) !

regards,
hunter

thanks!! I didn't know they had agility training there. I went there a few times and I only saw obedience training.

I think I'll be going next week to check out how the training is.

Thanks again!!! SmileSmileSmileSmile

Btw, see you next week?

hi,

uh uh.. hold ur horses.... i think the next class might be cancelled coz there's going to be an obedience trial on june 22nd in ipoh. u should call mka to confirm first - there's a lot of events coming these few weeks which might make them cancel the classes.

hope this helps. ps : i take my silly gr for classes almost every week. u can find me at intermediate class... and i'd most probably join the agility classes too if there is one.

regards,
hunter
