Hello everyone,
My name is Zoe and my little hairy man is called JAck. He is a cross-breed (Chiuhua x yorkie).
He is nearly 7 months old, and I worship him.
Yesterday we started him on his worming tablets, and we have done this before, and he threw up.
He threw his breakfast up and only nibbled on bits on his 3rd meal yesterday. He was sick twice yesterday.
He was sick this morning at 4a.m, and it was bile from his empty stomach, and we have not continued the course of Panacur worming tablets.
We took him to the vets this morning, they took his temp, said it was above average but not too high, and gave him 2 injections. 1 to stop him from being sick and the other, an antibiotic. They said he has a virus, but did not specify.
He has slept all day today, not eaten, and i am having to dip my finger in water for him to lick it off.
I am really worried, if anything ever happened to my baby, well, just typing it is making me upset.
Has anybody else had similar issues with their puppy?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
