;) Well, although I am able to get the welding done myself but i guess we have to keep our options open. I'm guessing you would want sus hollow pipes right ?? I doubt you'll be using sus plates for the cages. Please let me know of the sizes in diameter and we can work something out. Sharing is Caring

Re: [Vic Tea] Stainless Steel Dog Cage [In reply to] Can't Post

difficult to say ler... unless we have someone that uses SUS very often and has stock.... then if off and on we take some from him, i think it would be cheaper.... if want us to buy when need... then its more expensive... summore if wanna buy in bulk oso no modal... :p

banting is not very far... i'm working at shah alam... near klang side... :p

i can try to do some calculations as my company uses sus... but its difficult to talk to my boss about buying from him as we are also always low on stock... Frown

What is SUS lah? I just know the price of scrap metal is going up sharply...haha.

I guess it may be cheaper if ask steel fabricator to custom made it since they can buy steel at cheaper price than us.

SUS = Stainless Steel....

prices of all metals are going up...

if it is going to be a long term use, i would prefer to use Stainless Steel... this is because of the minimal maintenance.... eg, no need paint.... and it is also very resistance to rust... and if well taken cared of, eg wash it everyday, it would not rust and it need not be replaced.... well unless it gets too small or your dog gets too big.

Re: [khengteik] Stainless Steel Dog Cage [In reply to] Can't Post

Thanks for the explaination!

Are you still in Thailand? Since u r in SUS business, do u heard of a Malaysian businessman who is based in bangkok, Thailand, trading in china made SUS piping...brand is CTW...heard of it? I heard made in china is cheaper but quality...u know lah....haha.

I would think that the price of SUS is more expensive in Malaysia as compare to Thailand, Thai people used a lot of SUS in thier house as compared to Malaysian.......right?

By the way, what breed of dog u own?

Re: [Vic Tea] Stainless Steel Dog Cage [In reply to] Can't Post

i'm now back in Malaysia..... at last.....

i'm not sure bout SUS from china... but there are now quite a number of new grades of SUS that are cheaper... but for SUS pipes we still go for the not so cheap types...

prices of everything is cheap in thailand.... the only thing that is expensive is the petrol.... even Teflon is only almost half the price of that in malaysia... i really dont know how the ppl there survive...
