Dog Nails	Can't Post

Is it a must to cut dog's nails? Because my dogs nails is kind of long and I'm thinking about cutting it but I heard from somewhere that this hurts them. Is it true? My dog tends to bite off his own nails.

Of course, it is a must. I personally use a dremel tool to grind the nails back.

Its okay to trim the dogs nail. as long as you dont cut into the "quick" of the nail. (the pinkish part) just be careful

yeah.. I cut his nails a few weeks ago and it didn't bleed.

If in case u accidently cut the QUICK... suggest u to get the Stop bleed powder from pet shop. just in case
