Hello members,

I am new to the world of dog parenting. Six months ago, I would only marvel at dogs and their owners from afar. Now, I am a proud owner of 2 dogs!

Bruno is my first dog, a 6 year old Golden + Lab (m). As fate would have it, he was spotted from an add posted on Facebook and something tells me that "our happiness are bound together". Crazy, yes, but I adopted him 2 days later from a Japanese family who was due to fly back to their homeland a week later.

Last month, I adopted a 4 months Dachshund mix (f) named Catarinha. Pretty, playful, bounciful and very persistent. As it is with all hounds, she digs until her paws and nose are covered with soil.

I would like to socialise Bruno and Catarinha more. So please keep me posted on outings to Bukit Gasing and etc. I live very near and used to go there quite often with my family but have never walked my dogs there before. Will appreciate guidance from veterans like you all!

welcome to the dog family.

i've been trekking at bukit gasing with my dogs for the past 4 years there...

feel free to join us every saturday morning at 8.00am.

but heard that last week there was a landslide, i'm not sure how's d condition though.

Thanks amanda. I run a dance studio and have classes from 9am onwards on saturdays. Is there another time/day that you are there with Pacco? I would love to have Bruno meet Pacco. Bruno isn't very friendly with male dogs, and i suspect that he behaves like that because his previous owner didnt socialise him much when he was a pup. Maybe if I work him out up and down the hill, he will be more chill.

unfortunately we only trek on saturday, but we trek once awhile during the public holiday.

maybe on labour day next week... can u make it for 1st may?

btw. my pacco is actually girl. Cool

Hello there Yen,

Yes, i remember you. U were staring at Bruno like you know him and then spoke to Terry. I thought, hhmm, how weird. Well, I am glad u met Bruno at the Hattori's. They did mention that they had a friend who will help them rehome Bruno if nobody adopts him. What a small world, now we know each other. Terry said u are a pet rescuer. Is that what you do for a living? Can u email me at tchian , I will tell u about the dance classes conducted at my studio. Doesn't seem proper to shout it out here.
