Hello all....It is great to join this forum.

I am Vincent, I am from Penang. my pup is 2 months old, I just got him few days ago from Seremban. I drove all the way to Seremban to pick him up. He is so cheeky and hyperavtive but very cute....fat fat short short.... hehe

I got some major problems here ler, he likes to make noise when I put him down to the cage, especially at night, I have to take him with me in my bed room in order to avoid the noise made by him and disturbing neighbours....

He likes to bite things

, how to train hah? Besides, if I want to train him to pee and pang sai at the toilet or specific area what should I do? is there any advice ka???

Besides, he likes to sleep 1 to 2 hours then wake up....then play then sleep again.....even at night...is that normal ar?

Hi,

U didnt mention what breed is ur dog ? when u 1st bring ur puppy home, they are not used to ur plc yet mar sure make noise for 1st few nites or at least 1 week b4 they are familiar with ur plc..

Puppies biting stuffs are normal cos they maybe teething and their gums are itchy so u need to scold him when he bites things lor..buy some toys for them to play so they will only bite their toys and not ur stuffs..

for toilet training, u may want to read old posts lor..u need to soak one of ur puppies pee and put it at a specific spot which u want him to pee / poo at and constantly remind him to go there..there are signs to look for one..for instant when they want to poo, they will circle many many times b4 squatting down to poo..some dogs shows that signs, some dont so u need to constantly monitor them lor..when they pee / poo on the correct spot, praise them and give them treats..when they pee / poo everywhere, if u catch them, scold them, if u dun see it, dun scold them cos they wont know why u scold them..

About my little dog breed ar...ermm I also not sure lehh...it mixed with "XI SI" already....later I try to post up his pic lor....but I am gonne bring him to see vet later and have his first injection. He seems to dont want to makan like that....eat a little then run away then eat a little then run away like that....want to bring him to check lor....furthermore he likes to bite his own tails lehh...dunno y...

By the way I am from BM, mainland....what about u?

Im from the Penang Island..staying in Farlim area..

Erm u may want to check for mites or ticks lor..my MS during puppy time also like to bite her tail for no reason one..she sort of got rashes over there but now ok liao..

Well ur going to bring ur puppy to VET so the doctor will help u to check ur puppy lor..

Ru feeding the same food as the breeder ? Cos u must not change the food so fast..if not they will have diarrhea..

Oh ya, we try to organise mthly dog gatherings one so once ur puppy finish all his 3 jabs, u can bring him to socialise with other furkids..

wahh...your response so fast keh...thanks .... I feed them with dog biscuit lor about 4 days ....but he seems like dont like eating so considering to change, i will love to join the gathering if there is any....cuz never have puppy leh...this is first time gonne be more patient and learn more things from others expereince.

U mean kibbles ? What is the current brand ur feeding him ?

Yah when having 1st puppy, u got to have lots of patience especially toilet training, it took us months to toilet train my 2nd puppy, headache when they simply pee and poo..got to clean up the mess..

My husband motto is that when they are puppy time n ur trying to toilet train them hor, never leave them alone, always keep them within ur sight..cos some puppies do pee a lot during puppy time and some puppies can even hold their poo for many hours one..cos if they keep making mistakes hor, they can never learn where to pee or poo one but some puppies do learn very fast lor..u dun need to buy the liquid from petshops, just soak one of ur puppy urine can liao..for now u can try newspaper, maybe when u go jusco, try to get a wee wee pad cos it can soak better..newspaper cant soak water so it will be messy for the puppy cos they may step on their own pee and imagine them walking around ur house..
