Hehehe, made me giggle a bit when its previous owner said that it's a Rottie + Dobbie mix. It looks nothing like those two breeds. It's just a mongrel pup... Nice looking one.

hello...well...the brothers of this dog looks quite like a Doberman tho...lol !
Well, this is the only one who's brown skinned...
how about the ears ?

its behavior is very hyper-active
also it displays signs of dominance
(like humping on peoples legs, esp new visitors)
when i come close it wants me to scratch its tummy by turning
very people friendly
i dunno y but afraid of cats ?!?!

so far this is the obvious things that i have observed...

i have attached a pic of black, its brother and pls do tell me what u think ok!
thanks :) :).

Hmm, his brother looks like Dobermann mix ah... But, you can always observe its size when it's fully grown. It somehow has got the Dobbie markings but not the Dobbie size & looks. The ears are wrong too becoz they are usually flopped down. Mos of the ones that you standing up & are like sharp, they were cropped. So I don't think there's any Dobbie inside their blood...

Hmm no point asking the one that prefers mongrels. Yes they do have the faceof the dobby but this ears must belong to another breed. This colour does not necessary belong to rotty even dobby has these colour. My uncle owned dobby before. Maybe you should netuer your dogs if you wanna stop it's humping behavior. I met one that looks like this today at a vet's place. The fellow smaller than a dobby. But real good guard dog and doesn't eat from strangers. Even if owner feed anything other than usual food the dog is also cautious. The owner mentions that no one can come near the house at all. Hope your dog shares these good characteristics.

If a female dog humps maybe it's due to dominance. It's really hard to see what breed it is mixed with. Anyway a dog will be a good guard dog knows no pedigree. They will be good guard dogs if you love shower them with love. Once they take you as their master they will feel the need to protect you and they will guard you and the house well.

Doberman ah?Luk like GSD to me lahh...btw, I think the look will change soon....at 9 mths above- then u will see the permanent look....nevertheless, he has a charming luk....sweet with standing ear. The ear doesnt have to be cropped to stand.Depends lar....if its not cropped, it will stand too but tak pointed....take gud care of it, mongrel or not...definately will turn out charming and hensem/pretty.....

Good guard dog? Train it to be like one... It's important that your dog does not simply bark at anybody going pass the house. Your dog will know no difference between the post men, passers-by or even your friends. The dog can only bark but once the thief comes is, oh-oh! What now? But no other training can start without any OB training or else, you'll have no control of the dog. Socialization is very important too... Guard dogs are usually friendly unless they're commanded to protect you, your home & to even bite. Important for the dog to "listen" to the owner's command. Becoz a dog can bite anybody...

Ah, this dog of mine
anyone that comes
he jumps on them (tail swaying crazily)
then starts mouthing them
friends, postmen ...almost everyone la
and then she will turn on her back
as if asking for a belly rub?
hahahaha
cute tho...but the thing is, what if its a bad person?
if she does this when a thief comes
and asks for a belly rub...die la! hahaha

Shes 5 months old now btw :)

hardly ever barks

when i take her out for walks,
she stops to smell everything
usually i will guide her gently but sternly along with me
and when the neighbors dog barks at her
she would whimper and at first approach the dog (male)
then quickly walk away....

anything that you guys can see from here?

thanks !!!
Mike

she's still young le. of cos dunno how to differentiate between good n bad. Wait till at least 7months to a year then she will be more cautious.
