There are 4 albino hedgehogs in very very poor condition and they are for sale at carrefour at mega mall!!
When they first came in about 6 weeks ago they were nice and pink and healthy. Over the weeks their faces have turned black from the fact that they have no space to move and so they are constantly running into the other hedgehogs and getting pricked. The spikes on their backs are covered in what looks like blood from their cage mates and most probably the gunk on the bottom of their tiny cage. It is very unlikey that they are being fed a diet that is appropriate to them. They look very very ill.
The cage smells awful, they are listless and frankly i don't think they will ever get sold in the condition that they are in now.... If any of you have any friends in the media or anywhere else who could maybe write an article on this or investigate the situation further please send them the picture and this email.
If anyone would like to help rescue them they are still for sale. The management at carrefour have lowered the price by RM10.00 from 498.00 to 488.00 ....

Here is a link to a photo of them. It is very blur but you can at least see that their faces are no longer pink and healthy and they are being kept in a tiny reptile tank.
