Hello, your older dog may feel threatened. My mom in law has 2 shit tzus and they attacked my sweet Milo, chocolate lab of about 3 years old. Maybe you can hold your dog's mouth gently and say no or leave it. Let go of his mouth and pet him, tell him he is a good boy and give him a treat. Also, did you socialize your older dog with bigger dogs?

hello,
could it be your older dog is jeolous? Afterall, he has been the only dog in the house for past few years?
I agree with Milooh, he needs socialise with other dogs in order to get along with your small pup.
Also, try to bring your new pup away and slowly introduce her 1st day with him for 15 minutes, watch them. Gradually increase the time. Let him get use to the new comer instead having them mix around.

Hello ...

Is your elder dog 10 months or 10 years? Cos if the dog is 10 months, maybe that's the way he's trying to make friends with the smaller dog. But if he's 10 years, maybe he's use to being alone and won't be able to accept the new pup so soon.

My 3 smaller dogs can't accept my 1st lab. My 2nd lab was staying in the kitchen with them. But they never play ... cos whenever my lab wants to play, they'll either bark at her or wanna bite her. So she learn that she'll just have to sit and keep quiet.

Actually my smaller dogs are scare of the lab ... I mean the 1st lab... They'll hide under the car. But once my smallest size dog .. my male maltese .. goes all out to attack the lab, the rest ... just action action follow only. ha..ha..ha..

But now I separate them already... No smaller dogs... no more going outside. 100% indoor...

SmileTry introducing them slowly. Or maybe wait till the RR grows a little bigger than the yorkie(which should be soon) and then supervise them together. Anything goes out of hand, apprehend who ever's wrong.Smile

Btw,do you have a pic of your RR? Where did you get her? Did you import her?
