I have had Pluto for almost 6 mths. I got him frm pasar, wrapped in a box left to die..even, till now, Pluto is fearful of strangers though I take him around for socialising ..holidays, weekly to training ground and meeting other doggies.
Todate, the only command he can do is COME and SIT...Trying to teach him PAW...probably it will take more time...The only advise I can tell you. Time and patient...and pray that this dogs will forget the past and start trusting human....again..

Hmmm.. Am recalling which fostered dog of mine is scared. i think there's one named Girly. She was very timid cos i took her from a construction site. When they were knocking all the trees down one actually fell in front of her so she became timid after that. 3 persons was needed to catch her and she actually peed. And she wanted to bite but i use cloth to cover my hands bbefore catching her.
Coming to my place she was also very scared of me. She acts just like your dogs. She will onli be friendly to people she knows if not she will run/shy away. Let me go find out from my dog's trainer then will keep you updated on how to solve this.
