Any type of dog with/without can enter competition like agility & OB organise by MKA, puppy.com, petnyou & etcs.

regarding one of the post which replied by u here, u insist that dog show is not solely for winning, im fully agree with u, we can also take it as a precious time we have fun with our doggy, and its a good experience ever.
a puppy must reach how old before he is eligible for show?
is there a lot of dog shows in a year? because im thinking of showing my puppy, but i'll only bring him home by christmas, and he will be 9weeks old that time.
so the 1st ever dog show we can take part in year 2008 probably by which month?? worry he is still young and might not eligible for show. and the last question, any charges in participating the dog shows?? if yes how much? sorry for the long questions.... beginner here...

* Min 6 months old for your puppy to be eligible for participating in puppy category. From your info about your puppy age my calculation should be end April 2008.
* Average 12 Shows in one calender year.
* If I not mistaken 1st dog RM30 subsequent class RM10 (MKA Member Rate).
* 2nd dog RM20 subsequent class RM10 (MKA Member Rate).
yea sure...hehe, this sunday 18th i cant attend, but 16th dec definately i'll be there, observe first, in future have more idea on how it goes, some more can avoid 'shame situation' happen...hahha
I saw a few pomeranians there and saw a shih tzu undergone hair rebonding.
Was told that the show is at rooftop but it's for training sessions only. When i got to lower ground floor, only saw the prize giving ceremony. Missed the dog show.
What're the dogs compete in?
