i know is very embarassing when you go to somebody house and thier furkid jump on you and start shaking. that's why i'm afraid my boy will do the same thing. i'll wack him as soon as he start.

just need to keep him pre-occupied and exercise him a lot,. only bored dog who are so bored and has nothing to do will start to lick here and there and develop a habit,
so just prevent it from starting in the first place....

Hi shekel - both my furkids are female. So, dun have this problem.
The good thing is they managed to calm down a big Rotweiller down the road with their charm. The Rott is a very fierce guard dog, but 'lembik' when he saw my girls during our walking session.

as a dog owner, one already has taken the dog as a son or daughter , so e'day you have to spend time with it, of course, or ur wife or some one will have to ,

Perth how big is your boy? mine is middle size mongrel. is yours that big? my boy saw my kai lui toy poodle and he thinks she is a cat. my boy don't watch tv he prefer real life. that's why when he saw his stray friends doing it with the bitch and he get the heat. i would be happy if your boy can teach my boy.

he he he...so its true lar when I heard owner help to masturbate the dog.....I have no problem. Both kiddo have been strelized, one mre will get him fixed after Hari Raya......Too bad, I will not experience all this lah.....but glad to know about it here....
if i'm not mistaken, there are 3 reasons y a dog humps. 1. in heat 2. to show dominance 3. stressed out... correct me if i'm wrong.....
and like what the other members said.... neutering or spaying does not really affect the characteristics of the dog. even if it there is effect, it is usually in a good way. i've seen in discovery channel and animal planet and in most cases 99% of the time, after neutering and spaying, the dogs actually become more obedient. the 1% would have more work.... so whatever it is, the character of our furkids actually depends on how and what we teach them....
