Hello everyone,

My furkids & me will be going for the A'Famosa outing this 22nd Sept. My group will consist of at least 10 furkids. We plan to stop by at PD in the morning and leave before the crowd starts coming in. (Anyhow, I pressume there will be less ppl due to Bulan Puasa)

We will be in Malacca earlier than the check-in time (12 noon or so). Before that, we would like to stop by, freshen up and makan-makan. Any restaurant in Malacca that allows furkids?? Please help....million thanks..

puasa?i don think u guys are malay rite?im studyin in mlk for 4 yrs and i never heard dats any restourant allow furkid,im sad about it too...

hmmm ok...i think it's ok if u bring 1 only lah........u just approach the workers at the restaurant and ask permission lor.

So far I've noticed ppl bringing shih-tzu usually only one at a time at this these few restaurants lah:

1. Taiwanese Beef and Pork Ribs Noodle house near Kampung Lapan. Ok lah I donnu road names to be exact lah even though i'm mlkan. Hahahah sorry lah............. i saw a few times liao got ppl bring their furkid there. But only 1 at a time lah.

2. Asian Havana cafe in Taman Melaka Raya. This one u gotta try and ask the manager if possible. Cos they got outdoor sitting area, so my guess is should be ok if only 1 dog and sit away from the crowd. But opened at night only wor. Manager's name is Calvin I think. Long time no go liao, donnu if he can remember me or not. Tongue

3. No 486 on Jalan Tengkera. Sell nyonya food. They operate from the compound of their house. Once again, ask permission. Should be ok lah.

Aiya, janji as long as got open sittings, u try ask the boss lah. Say u got puppies, can take them down or not? Cos leaving them in the car is quite hot. I think generally if u got nice fancy carriers for them, should be ok lah...... I noticed most Malaysians are a little ignorant to even realise u're carrying a dog with u. hahahahaha........i always take Gizmo to Ming Tien in Tmn Megah also i wonder how many ppl out of 20 actually noticed I got a dog with me.

For me everytime I go back, I just dump my devils at my grandma's place for them to run. No need to take them anymore as they are happy trying to get the tortoise at home to play tug of war or fetch with them. hahahaha Tongue

Anyway have a great time ok as I have to freaking work on that weekend!

yeah i'm mlkan but now working in KL. I still try very hard to go back home once a month cos I miss my chicken rice ball, the satay celup in Ong Kim Wee, No 486's mee siam and laksa and the uncle that sells ABC in Bunga Raya! Tongue

I actually have 2 cockers. The one in the avatar....hmmm i got him from the cocker rescue centres but I cant confirm he is a pure ACS or not. Seems to me he is more of a 90% ACS, 10% ECS. But some my friends here say, the more they look at him, the more he resemble a English Springer Spaniel mix. More like 90% ACS, 5% ECS and 5% ESS. LOL i donnu lah and I don care. But he definitely didnt stray too far from the Spaniel family. hahahaha Tongue

I have another one, this one as what the original owner claim is a pure ACS lah.

Anyway the picture below is the both of them:

Small one not groomed for the last 5 months dues to a broken leg. hahahahaha

Hi,

I wonder if I can take my dogs to the chicken rice ball ? It has been long time time since I last visited Malacca,

last year while we were on our way to AFamos ,I took my dogs to eat Hakka mee near Tampin,the restaurant owner is vry nice & allowed us to sit in side,at first we though of let the dogs stay in car,but the lady boss said outside very hot, better bting inside

not an air cond retaurant,just an ordinary chinese coffe shop..but we feel happy.

I may want to bring my dog to the St Paul's hill & the read building to take some photos...

by the way u still looking for jobs ? My company is 5 days ,,,,have many vacancies yet to be filled as business is expanding...I work 5 days...see u in A famosa...what kind of jopb u are looking for ?

Musa: See lah which shop. I think if u go more less commercialised one, i think they will allow u. Don lah go to the super pack super famous one. Some less commercialised ones can be good too u know and *ahem* more hygienic. hahahahah I'm not telling which shop and it's history. U just look at the crowd at the shop. If they are all too well dressed siap with sunglasses, chances are they are not malaccans. If if u don see a lot of malaccans at that shop, there must be a reason. HAHAHAHA Wink

What company is it? Business nature? I don wan to do sales and marketting can already. I'm willing to try out new areas if I have to. But I cant quit anytime soon cos still bonded! Pirate

U have been there before with your furkids right? Can we take the furkids for the lantern festival? Or they can only be around the accommodation area?

Count down to A famosa...4 & 1/2 days....

After discuss with those whom are car pooling wih me, we decided to go back to the same restaurant to have Hakka mee for lunch..it's on the way to Tampin,so we will not be going to Malacca Town..as you can imagine...4 dogs in the car..hopefully they will behave. Sly

They will another 2 cars tailing me as well...
