Heartworm Prevention Need Advise!!!	Can't Post

Most probably we took yearly injection for heartworm prevention but I'm feeding my furkid with heartguad prevention monthly, do I still need to bring my furkid for yearly injection?

Kinda confused here for unexperienced owner like me.

You either choose yearly injection or feeding heartgrad monthly basis.

I prefer feeding my dogs heartgard. I have doubt about the yearly injection.

If your dog is on yearly heartworm injection, there is no need for monthly heartworm prevention. There are many brands of monthly heartworm medicine, namely Interceptor spectrum, proheart tab, heartguard plus... It is advisable to deworm your dog twice a year no matter yearly or monthly program is chose, with the exception of Interceptor spectrum.
