Dont panic. Before making any move, y dont you go and check with MPSA on dogs regulation. Go the Jabatan Vektor. Only some breeds are not allowed to be kept as pet in Shah ALam. Some bull terriers I think. MPSA have all this in black &white in the application of dog license form.The rest is fine. As for Rotweiiler,they have certain rules as wel. However,tehy also are not banned. Should any of the of the MPSA officer claiming to confiscate your dog, fight for your right. Tell them to get the facts right. However, firstly, please, please get the dog license and never let your dog go out unattended and unleashed. These are the only 2 things that enable the Municipal to consfiscate your dog. Simple!

Shah Alam turned out this way is it because of the rottie case a few years back? Was that in Shah Alam or Subang?

Why create an imaginary slippery slope for the general public. Just because of one freaking case, they banned all breeds? Screw it lah.......in the future, if anything bad ever happens there, DONT SEND K9 Rescue team there! Send the felines in lah....dont use K9 at all. Have that letter scan and broadcast to the world never ever to send K9 rescue team ever to that region. Even if using dogs is their last option, screw it. They can dig their own grave.

I'm sure ALL dogs go to heaven whether or not they have bitten and chew up a person, they will all go to heaven. And when judgement day comes around, make sure these fellas go thru the K9 judgement level. Let the dogs that they have shot in their lifetime or being mistreated JUDGE them! That will be fun! And there shall be no forgiveness for such sin.

I just don understand how can any living soul point a gun to a another helpless being. And we are suppose to be a higher being on the heirachy as compared to dogs because we are suppose to have the brains to think and analyse!

I've never consider buying a house in Shah Alam simply because dogs are not welcome. And I'm furious about this news.
Can't believe dog-shooting is practiced in such a 'so-called' 'educated' and 'developed' place. No offend to chinese in Shah Alam but because of majority population there and looking at the 'dog banning' startegy it seem to me that Shah Alam is becoming such a malay kampung.
And that is the reason why the property there has not been appreciated much. Sorry but this is the true, parasites who eat up the whole place and rotten the place.

Please let me know what can I do? I've just adopted a JRT beagle mix from a family who can't afford to take care of her anymore. I might be able to foster another medium size doggie.

Please help to inform residents with dogs in Shah Alam. Do not simple let go their love ones. Protect them and if have no choice then find them a good home or move out from the hell for good.
