Hi Every K9 lover here

I'm Kii from Ipoh. I don't own any K9...yet and I'm researching for more info before getting one. I'm interested in Cairn Terrier, Westie(I know this will be extremely expensive) and Shih Tzu. So, it's a choice in between Terrier or Shih Tzu and I havent make up my mind. My mom don't really like pets but I think I'm old enough to take up the responsibility. I'd even came up with a name for my future pup. ^_^v

Do update us when u got urself a K9. Hmm most of us forumers here also face that kind of situation before. Me as one of them, i remember telling my mum that im getting a puppy, she was so against it, keep saying, u better dun get it, i dun like dogs, bla bla bla but in the end she loves Nana a lot..cos every morning Nana would go greet her by licking her and guess she amuses by mom sometimes also..dogs do have a way to melt someone's heart one. As long as u know all the responsibilites when u have a dog cos it's a commitment that u ought to treat the dog right and u will be rewarded with many cute stuffs that ur furkid can make u laugh..hehe..

Thanks for the advise. I can't wait to get one now. I think probably I'll get a shih-tzu since it's much cheaper than poodle and terrier. And still oozes the same amount of sweetness nonetheless.

My advice, slowly take ur time to look for a reputable breeder rather than buy from petshops. Nana is my 3rd poodle and thank gosh she's a healthy active cheeky noty pup. My 2 pups didnt stay with me for long for they had some viruses n disease n had passed away..

As long as you make sure u're the one responsible solely for the furkid, Just get the dog lah!



My mum didnt even know I had a dog in the US and didnt even know I was bringing one home till the day I flew and came back and one week later I told her I gotta go back to KLIA to pick up one more lugage. She really thought there was one more lugage delayed. When I came back with Rascal, all smelly and dirty, she was way too shocked to say anything. Angelic

Just make a lot of noise say go bath him fast and make lots of noise bout the possibility of ticks and fleas and all and of course she nag for a while bout the money wasted to fly him home lah.

But after a few days with rascal, she also fell in love with him lah. Now, she treats him better than me! Buy him so many stuff from singapore! I ask her to buy chocolates from there, she scold say fattening lah this lah that lah, but for Rascal, wahhhhhh everything and anything also can! Unimpressed

hi hi..welcome welcome to the big big family..i think most of the parents are the same la..my mum don't like furry things, and my dad said waste money la, waste time la, need to care a lot la..but now both of them are the one who sayang the doggies the most!!!

believe me, doggies have their own very special way to do miracle things to attract those 'parents'..hahaha...

yeah yeah....agree...totally agree!

At first my mum bising bising bout putting the dog in the house ok...say his fur will fly everywhere lah and this lah and that lah and he will pee poo in the house lah..........NOW.......she's not keen on letting him out cos his fur would get dirty! though she still at times make noise bout his fur getting on her carpet!

Finally!!! I got my own puppy. And her name is Nici.



She's born in Feb 14 and only 4 weeks old now but she's so fat and cute. She's a maltese and shih-tzu mix.


She sleeps most of the time. Lazy Nici

She's totally adorable and I still have so much to learn on puppy-care. My parents accepted her into the house much better than I thought....thanks to her cuteness.

Nope, she's not all white (although her mother is a maltese). Her back is brown. She's the browniest among the pack of her brothers and sisters.

Look at the way she sleeps. ^__^

my mom was also saying 'don la wat for u take k of a puppy in ur busy yr ?'

but in the end, i curi curi adopted molly, and my mom came to see her.

then, my mom say 'don spend too much time on ur dog k? spend more time on study'
