Re: [bryanchuah] another 'really' newcomer.. [In reply to] Can't Post

hi bryan,

i think pug is just best. (mind you, i own a pug and i live in condo. i'll definitely think he's the best). anyway, some facts u need to know; pugs r not barkers, they dun need much exercise. therefore, i think pug is ideal for apartment leaving especially that we dun have much space. however u must know that pugs shed a lot. i mean realy a lot especially during the twice a year season.

u may read more abt pugs in www.pugs.com

i think msn also has this formula to identify the breed for u.

hope u'll get ur furkid soon...Smile

Hi Bryan Smile

Welcome to the forum!! Keep us updated on your search for your puppy....it's a lot of fun, isn't it?

Btw, do u have any preferences in any breeds a the moment? I think you can only manage a small dog in an apartment so that cuts out the rotties, labs, dobes...etc. Now you can think more along the Shih Tzu, Peke, Pug, JRT, silky terriers, Miniature Schnauzers....Wink And if you want something with less hassle, of course you'll have to look at those with generally lower maintenance...like the JRT and pug who doesn't need brushing.

Re: [bryanchuah] another 'really' newcomer.. [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi bryan... welcome to the site and hope to see you in our next gathering.
Btw i stayed in Puchong too and i owned 3 pups, 2 JRTs and a cross breed. Well, if you looking for small breed pups and you stay in apartment, pug and JRT is one of your best choice. Both of them needs only minimum grooming.
But one thing bear in mind, JRT is very active dog, you need to be an active person too to handle such dog. I usually bring my dogs out for a walk along the garden and neighbourhood. 3-5 times per week, depends on the time i have. Pug need lesser exercise as their are more lazzy kind of dog.
Hope you find your furkid soon Tongue GOOD LUCK!Wink
